Ordered through Uber eats. Received expired lasagne. As you can see in the picture even the tomato sauce looks extremely old.... Before I even opened the bag the scent of the food alone is enough for them to have known that it was expired and not goodedible. This restaurant is disgusting and unsanitary. My friend was looking for a Taco Bell or Tijuana Flats close to closing times, so when we saw this vegan place still open, we... decided to give it a try. Very cute interior with excellent staff. My friend ordered a falafel, and I got the Ginger-TamariMarinated Grill Tofu on a Spinach wrap. We were both very happy with our meals. I had my Spinach wrap with Quinoa, Chickpeas,lettuce, Spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, and the light garlic dressing. They had spicy sauces which I love, but my stomach doesnot. I was so glad to find this place; it's the only vegan place I could find open early in the area. The staff was very friendly and... helpful choosing a menu item. I ordered the Latin bowl with one substitution and they accommodated me. I also had theirlemonade. The bowl was perfection. I asked for the cilantro and garlic sauces on the side and I felt they both complimented thebowl really well together and the flavor of everything was wonderful. The lemonade was very tart and could have been sweeter butloved that it was fresh and not some boxed powder affair. I am looking forward to going back and trying other options. Read more
I?ve been here twice now for breakfast. I got it last week for the first time and thought it was great for a vegan spinach and... cheese empanada. I also tried the pb smoothie which I also reordered today due to it?s deliciousness. My husband had the avocadotoast and said that was good too. Was on my way to get a shake down the street when I saw their place. I'm so happy I stopped in. I ordered a TLT sandwich... (Tempeh Lettuce Tomatoes) and it was delicious. Nice big slab of tempeh, not the small strips you get everywhere else. Seepics for portion. Tasty, but you can tell it's fresh. I got the salad as the side, and it was small, but still very good. Thevinaigrette dressing was incredible, I ended up using it as a bit of a dip for the sandwiche. I also ordered the grilled Tofuonly, that comes in their Tofu sandwich. I didn't want the 2nd sandwich just wanted the extra protein and they were kind enoughto do that for me. The 2 pieces of Tofu were grilled and served in their ginger-tamari sauce which was fabulous. I didn'torder a drink, but they served me a cup of water and paper straw which I really appreciated. There is seating for about 30people in here, it's decieving. Nice Environment, music at a perfect level, clean wholesome decor like you'd expect from ahealthy vegan spot. Staff was amazing too. I asked questions about the vinaigrette, and instead of saying "I don't know", hetook the time to go ask the chef who came and had a conversation with me. Will definitely be back to try more items. Wouldn'tmind trying that tofu in the actual sandwich, and their breakfast items. Edit: Came back following day and had banana/chiapancakes - 10/10, moist, delicious, perfect consistency. Also ordered raisin/apple oatmeal bowl. I should have eaten thisbefore my pancakes as you can imagine what the pancakes did to my taste buds. However the oatmeal consistency was perfect and itwas a big bowl full. Edit#2 - came back a 3rd and 4th time. I couldn't get enough of this place while I stayed in Lauderdale bythe Sea. Great spot around Wilton Manors. We had a burrito with plantain inside, edamame, two different empenadas, and giant chocolate... chip cookie. The service was friendly and helpful. The burrito was nothing special but everything else was excellent, especiallythe chocolate chip cookie! I would definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area. Read more
