It started out fine entrees were very tasty. But then when we received the meal. The lobster was over cooked. The fish was too... salty. Trying to get a server became frustrating. When finally someone came he had the audacity to say calm down in spanish thatour original server had to go to another section. This was supposed to be an anniversary celebration and turned into aNIGHTMARE!!! Save your money, time and patience. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Read more

Pirate republic seafood restaurant is definitely a nice experience. Has a nice vibe and is a nice place to take family from out... of town as well. the fried snapper was super good and highly recommended. Theres tons of parking and its nice to sit next to thewater. We stopped in for a snack and some drinks after walking around downtown. They have an amazing location with a dock to stop by if... you?re boating. The patio has a great view of the water/canals and the menu has a lot of options for a quick lunch or a nicedinner. The cocktails we got were strong and refreshing. The food was also very good. The ONLY thing good about this place was the water. They weren't even that busy and it took forever for us to even get water on... our table. The alcoholic beverages were straight liquor. The shrimp was way overcooked. The food is completely overpriced forwhat it is. The pirate bowl was exceptionally salty. This place is a tourist trap. Save your money & time, that's better place. My brother and I took our mother here for her early mother's day dinner Service was fast, the waiter knew the menu very well... and was able to give suggestions and even warned my mother about a dish that is known to be a bit salty. That was a really nicetouch letting me know these are thoughtful people. The views were nice, if you have a boat you can pull right up to thedock The food was fresh the only thing I wasn't crazy about was the calamari For drinks the 3 of us don't consume alcohol(anymore ????) so I had ice water my brother had a bottle of Fiji water and my mother ordered fresh passion fruit juice whichwas amazing no added sugar or anything From the pictures I can say yes all the food was as good as it looks and there serverhas upgrade options for those dishes like my Pirates bowl I could have added octopus and something that didn't come init. Really really good food. Fresh fresh seafood dishes. Well seasoned. Amazing staff. The night we were there, there was a rain... storm and we and other guests out on the decks had to rush in. The manager handled the chaos at the most amazing manager level.We will be back! Read more

This is my second time, first one was years ago and what a great pleasure to find that this place gets better and better. Decor... is fun. The food it was absolutely delicious. Seafood with an original Brazilian mix. The food came fast and perfect cooked. Myfavorite seafood pasta, coconut shrimp and Brazilian capresa salad. I just get hungry just remembering! The view was amazing,try to sit in the dock at sunset, to see the lights changing over the river and the buildings. We loved Pirate Republic anddefinitely will be come back. Read more
