Just ordered at Mini Pita in Fort Lauderale. Omg what wonderful meals we got. To start, i got grilled lamb chops (4) that were... wonderfully seasoned with great flavor. So tender! It included rice pilaf that was the best i?ve had besides what my Armeniangrandmother would make. It included a Mediterranean salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with spices. Next was an order of theirfresh made hummus with olive oil and paprika, and freshly baked pita. Finally had the large gyro in a pita bread that wasstuffed with meat,lettuce, tomatoes and tzatziki sauce. Thus is the second time ive ordered and both times the food was freshlymade and hot. Excellent Mediterranean restaurant with authentic flavors. Mini Pita Mediterranean Cafe is a great lunch spot and could be a... decent dinner restaurant, but it's in a shopping plaza. My only recommendation would be to have proper shawarma freshly slicedoff the spit, definitely would make it 5 stars for me. Read more

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant I?ve been to in a while in the US! Kudos to Joseph because he was simply wonderful,... service tends to suck in Miami, but he was attentive and a sweetheart. I had the lamb and upon Joseph?s recommendation thecouscous and wow! My mom had the veggie plate and she it ate it all, which is something she rarely does because she is superpicky with food! Nice little place. We had to go out of our way to come here. Eygption greek resto. That sounded interesting but being greek i am... a tough critect . Firat from my knowledge of greek food prices this place was pricey esp being a hole in the wall. Wife had lamband shrimo. They were ok. Lamb was just ok too as it could have been warmer and thicker. My seafood platter was surprisinglygood. Had a greek taste as i normally dont like tomatoe sauce. The mahimahi was to dry for me. Calamari was tiny .anyway would igo back?? Probably not. Read more
