The homie restaurant was spot on. Food was great. I ordered the ribs and shrimp, with collard greens and green beans. Ribs were... very flavorful and shrimp was plump, juicy and grilled to perfection. Our server Vondelynn was amazing!!! A must visit for greatBBQ. Read more
I don't know why I waited so long to give Li'l Red's a try. I made plans with a friend to go shopping and we planned on grabbing... some breakfast before we got on I95 heading North. When we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. The server was verynice and welcoming. We got the menu which has anything you are craving; sweet savory or both! We both ordered the omelet madewith our chosen ingredients. The server helped us decide on the home fries instead of the hash browns and a biscuit instead oftoast. I always like getting the servers opinion and boy did it pay off! Our food arrived at a normal timeframe and we dug in.Everything was as advertised and we filled up our happy bellies. Nice place, kind of old looking inside. I saw a lot of people stopping in which were treated like regulars because they were.... Had ribs, baked beans, Cole slaw, fries, and blt. The sauce on the ribs was very good, it's a sweet sauce not spicy at all. Theribs were good but didn't have that smoky taste. The beans were good and very sweet. Sweet tea very good. I was in town for a wedding and stopped by the first time during a break in the action. The food was great and prices reasonable... for good BBQ. I ended up going two more times during the weekend. Once for takeout dinner (got ribs and really enjoyed them!)and also for breakfast (excellent biscuits and gravy). Excellent food! Read more
