I love this place I am a regular for the scallop roll. Today is the first time I have had any issues. My lobster corn chowder... soup ($6.00) was served out the window warm, not hot. In most cases I would have sent it back but again I have never had issuewith this place before. When I was asked about my soup by the server I told her that it was not hot and of course she said wellyou should have told me, so my server was more than eager to fix the problem, definitely a five star response. My scallop roll,although good and plentiful, was not great like it usually is, way less flavor and somewhat dry, this four star rating I hopewill get their attention and get them back on track. Upon reading recent reviews I have noticed that most recent reviews haveissue. I'm not sure if they changed the management or the ownership but this is not the place it used to be. First time here as we are here on vacation. We were looking for a great place for lobster rolls. Kelly's did not disappoint... at all! We started off with a pint of fried shrimp & New England clam chowder. The fresh lobster on the rolls was so damngood. Their homemade sides were just as good too. I was visiting friends that moved down here from Massachusetts two years ago. They know their lobster and had found this little... gem. The night we went to eat, Kelly's had a great special on two 1lb "Lobstahs" for $30 with a side. The lobsters were great aswas the corn and tater tots. The service was wonderful, I think Jessica was our server - friendly, fun and attentive. The decoris a little older style, but they have it decorated with all New England stuff and it looks great. It was just an all aroundgreat meal and fun, good times with my friends!! Thanks for a great experience! So when we arrived the outside is not what we were expecting. The staff were helpful, food was fresh and tasted good. The food was so good we bought the T-shirt! This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem, from the phenomenal clam chowder to the... lobster fra Diablo this place was absolutely terrific! Wow! When a place has Fluffah Nuttah sandwiches on the menu, you know it's authentic! I'm from Boston originally, took several... friends here & way beyond my expectations. The Lobstah roll was killer. Ipswich clams, scallops shrimp & Schrod were awesome.Grilled MahiMahi (not native to Boston) was delicious! Everything we had was just awesome. Excellent New England style seafood. Everything is great that's all I can say. Today, we started off with Clam Chowder and a... bucket of Steamers. And for dinner we had the 2lb Maine lobsters and the triple Lobster Tails. All the food was cooked perfectand tasted very fresh. I highly recommended this place if you're in the area. Came for the lobster. Which was tasty and cooked well. Clam chowder is good. The medley seafood bake was definitely missing... something maybe garlic or lemon. Felt like the lobster roll was a little small for price. They could use some work on theirsides options. Bread pudding was awesome. Read more
