Wow! Just wow! As a big fan of Greek food it?s hard for a place to perfectly accomplish every dish their menu has to offer. Not... sure where to start but what better than appetizers. When it comes to ethnic foods, it hard for an American to actually know what is authentic food of different countries unless one... was born in a foreign country or has lived abroad long enough to experience specific cultures. I have eaten at many differentGreek restaurants in the US including Astoria, NY and Tarpon Springs, FL (those 2 cities contain the largest Greek) populationthe US) and I must admit that, to my taste, the Greek Island Taverna wins hands-down. This place is dialed in. Every time I go with the service and food is 100% perfection. I really don?t know how they do it. Your... salads are unbelievable and their hummus is to die for. Grateful for old-school places like this. The saganaki is amazing, Thelamb chops are awesome too. Read more
Great place for greek food. The only problem here is getting a table and they do not take reservations so good luck. This time... we went at 4pm for dinner which was pretty good. The photos speak for themselves. Read more
Incredible food, there are no reservations bit the lines moves. From the appetizers to the main course everything was delicious.... The gyros were seasoned perfectly. Additionally the pita dip sampler was great. For the main we all had different dishes. Theshrimp was incredible but the lamb, oh the lamb was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Read more
If you want to have proper American baby back ribs, then it's not the best place, but in terms of taste everything was great.... They have proper eastern starters which you may find in Turkey or Greece for example. So it's still a great place to spend anevening with friends or family with beautiful food! Read more
