I was the second in line but my order took 20 minutes. I ordered a turkey sub and received a pastrami sub, incredibly salty. ... The "medium" sub was tiny, mostly bread and little meat for $8.99. You could get four times the sub at Publix for the sameprice. The restaurant was dirty with spilled food and left over containers on most of the tables. We had plans today to go boating around Fort Lauderdale and stop at the Sand Bar. We thought subs might be the way to go for... eating lunch. Stopped by Firehouse Subs and ordered their most popular sub, the Hook and Ladder. Well, it turned out to be verymessy eating as the sub did not stay put together very well. Luckily we had some paper towels on board. We are sad to reportthat the sub only tasted "ok". Nothing to write home about. It was on the bland side and the ingredients didn't mixwell. Parking was easy in front of the shop. There is dining in as well as outside. You order up at the counter. I doubt wewill be back, sorry to say. Read more
Ordered firehouse subs through grubhub. They made my order incorrect - it should have been wheat bread and no tomato or onion.... This was clearly marked on my order, I triple checked and checked again when it showed up wrong. Instead of remaking it, theyjust put in a loaf of wheat bread and left my sandwich in white bread. I had to take the tomato and onions off. The bread wasn?teven toasted like the white bread was. Fresh food. Good service. Overpriced. Limited parking. Helpful staff. Good soda machine. Limited choices. Not Subway but still... capable. Unsure if another visit in the future. I like the subs and I know we are in an inflationary period, but they have ridiculously raised the prices to $9.49 for an... "8-inch" sub not including the chips/drink. Much better and faster places to get a sub for a much better price tag. Read more
