I recently dined at Evelyn’s this evening. The ambiance is nice and it is cozy as well. I ordered the pumpkin soup, pita,... salmon and yucca fries. My drinks were stilled water and winters garden mock-tail. At first I had ordered the saffron rice butto my liking I didn’t enjoy it as much. To compensate, the manager gave me a delicious desert by the name of Tropical FruitPavlova. It was so so good!!!. I took a point off because I felt that my waiter could’ve been a bit more attentive to me. Overall the food is interesting and is an acquired taste. Read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Such a well thought out menu. Each dish is prepared with extreme attention to... detail. Ingredients are super fresh and top quality. Evelyn’s puts a modern twist on classic Mediterranean dishes that workperfectly. I love the nod to local Fort Lauderdale history with the naming. Ambiance is nice, outdoor dining area is nice for amore casual dinner and inside for something a bit more formal. Service is always top notch, beyond what you’d expect from theFour Seasons brand. You must try the Jerusalem Bagel and the Batata Harra. The Truffle Hummus is also really really good - andthey use actual truffles, not some fake truffle oil. Wagyu beef skewers are also a good choice. For dessert - you must try thePavlova.\n\nEdit: Each time I come back the food and service gets better and better! Truly a gem here in Fort Lauderdale! Sit outside on a day with a nice breeze and its therapeutic. The pumpkin soup had too many seeds abs a pineapple juice for $19... is a little ridiculous. The truffle hummus was good but not worth it. Wagyu skewers were tasty but not mind blowing. However, probably best pita bread I’ve ever had in my life. Read more

A MUST VISIT for locals, vacationers, or anyone who wants a 5-star dining experience with some of the best Mediterranean food... you’ll ever have!\n\nI cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant! Chef Brandon and Chef Beto’s culinaryartistry played like a beautiful symphony on your palate. Each dish was deliciously unique and tastefully accented by everythingfrom saffron and pistachio to fresh cilantro and rose petals. (Check out the menu pic to see all the delicious dishes we wereable to sample.)\n\nIf you love hot sauce, you MUST try Chef Brandon’s which varies in flavor depending upon what is able tobe sourced locally so it’s supremely fresh and unique!\n\nI had the pleasure of accompanying of my travel agent friend to thisculinary journey during our dinner which was graciously hosted by Ms. Julie Burstein of the Four Seasons.\n\nA few of my faveswere the Olive Wood Smoked Octopus, Wagyu Beef Kibbeh with Keylime Tzatziki, Grilled Whole Branzino, Batta Harra, ALL of theGrand Mezze.\n\nThe food was outstanding and the service was equally spectacular - Friendly and attentive, but not overbearing.José (bartender) made some excellent suggestions from their custom cocktails. Our server, Carlton, and his assistant servers,Alejandra and Brenda kept our wine and sparkling water glasses full and cleared our plates promptly to make space for the nextround of the Chefs’ creations.\n\nThe ambience, the cuisine, the service, and the company made this one of the best diningexperiences I’ve had in South Florida in quite some time.\n\nA huge thanks to Ms. Burstein, Jack (manager) and Chef Brandonfor a wonderful, memorable dining experience. When you think of a restaurant in a hotel, you immediately wonder about the quality of the food, service and expectations of the... experience.\n\nHowever, when you dine at a Four Seasons restaurant, that assumption is dismissed.\n\nEvelyn’s is an eclecticmix of Mediterranean cuisine built on a menu that is as diverse as the United Nations.\n\nHead Chef Brandon Salomon has takenthe helm of this new restaurant and created a vibe that transcends the palate to levels of Michelin star quality. Every detailand execution is simply perfection.\n\nWe started off with drinks and dove right into the menu.\n\nJERUSALEM BAGEL withUrfa-Thing Seasoning, STONE-FIRED PITA\nwith Extra Virgin Olive Oil (GF Option Available). The bagel and pita made in-house andcooked to perfection.\n\nThis was paired with the GRAND MEZZE - Smoked Eggplant, Charred Red Pepper, Classic Hummus,House-Pickled Vegetables. TIP - ask for shaved truffles and oil on the hummus for an over-the-top experience.\n\nFor our meal,we selected a variety of small plates to share around the table.\n\nYELLOWFIN TUNA “NAYEH” - Puffed Bulgur, PickledVegetables, Harpke Farm Gem Lettuce, OLIVE WOOD-SMOKED OCTOPUS - Vadouvan Carrot Purée, Carrot Crumble, Preserved Lemon, andthe WAGYU BEEF KIBBEH - Key Lime Tzatziki.\n\nNext up was Wood-Smoked Skewers.\n\nAUSTRALIAN WAGYU BEEF - Date Barbecue, RedChili Shug, and the CHERMOULA VEGETABLES - Halloumi, Preserved Lemon Gremolata\n\nAnd we ending the extravaganza withdesserts.\n\nDARK CHOCOLATE PAVE - Halva, Black Sesame Ganache, Tahini Shortbread, Grey Sea Salt, Almonds, TROPICAL FRUITPAVLOVA -\nPassion Fruit-Banana Cremeux, Guava Citrus Sorbet, Mango, and the CARDAMOM DONUTS - Rose Syrup, VanillaDiplomat.\n\nThe pictures are worth a thousand words…\n\nEvelyn’s is truly a dining experience and highly recommended. Very understated (but very pleasant) dining room that isn’t located in the most obvious position - even the elevator doesn’t... signpost the 3rd floor as containing the restaurant. Ocean views without the road noise that blights the other seafrontproperties.\n\nThe service was personable, professional and attentive throughout. The hostess was extremely welcoming.\n\nThemenu is very interesting and everything we chose was excellent. The wagyu skewer was especially noteworthy with a funpresentation.\n\nWine markups are pretty steep but there’s a good selection served in lovely stemware.\n\nEvelyn’s is agreat addition to the fine dining restaurant scene in Fort Lauderdale. Look forward to returning. Will keep checking back to seehow often the menu changes. Read more
