Just realizing we tipped the server twice. Have never seen a restaurant charge a tip on the bill for a party of two. Overall... thought the food here was pretty good for Florida, not really known for their Mexican food. However, this restaurant is straightup shady. Of course charging a tip without notifying the customer?reason enough not to eat here, But that wasn?t my reason forwriting this review. I had two long island ice teas with lunch (pictured below). It came in this HUGE glass and was nicelygarnished but after drinking two I don?t feel it at all. After the first sip it was pretty clear they water down their drinks. Imentioned it to the server when ordering it but the second one came the same way. Mind you these drinks cost $20 each. So forthese two reason you should skip this place and walk a little further down the street. Read more

I had the best mimosa EVER here at El Taquito. The tacos were authentic and the Mexican rice paired with the tacos was the best... Mexican rice I ever had. I'll definitely visit again on the next visit. Read more

Staff were polite and attentive but it could be because we were the only ones there when we walked in. More people soon... followed. We Ordered the Pina Colada, Tequila Sunrise, shrimp tacos, shrimp fajitas and steak tacos. The food was well seasoned.I?m not normally a big vegetable eater but I definitely ate them all. They tasted so good. My meal came with a side of rice andbeans but it was more of a bean purée than actual beans. However, it did taste good. The drinks were kind of big but alsooverpriced for the amount of alcohol in it. All in all, it was a 4 out of 5 as far as satisfaction for me. My only gripe wasthe automatic tip on the bill. You should stop this practice immediately and let your customers decide if tipping is warranted.Tipping is a customers choice if they?re satisfied with service and food. We were very satisfied but not everyone will have thesame experience. I would recommend dining here but just be cautious before you tip because it?s probably already on your bill,so look it over carefully. Read more

Good location off the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately not the place for breakfast. Pancakes came out cold.... Waffles are not fresh and pre-packaged. Not really authentic Mexican, definitely a tourist Mexican spot. Read more

We enjoyed the food here. The Mango juice was too good with a popsicle in it. The corn starter was a bit too tangy. But went... well with the fajitas. Read more

What A Great Find! This place was great for our late-night taco craving. We started our meal with the Mexican wings, which Are a... must-have. They were flavorful and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Tamarind Margarita and it was delicious, they smoke themargarita when they deliver them to you, beautiful presentation. I also had the tostada you get two tostadas per order and theyare piled high with all of the topping. I will return to try more Mexican delights Read more
