Admittedly the food is good, very nice, clean and spacious dining area. However one negative experience usually negates the... positive ones. Took my elderly mom here today for dinner. I asked for an empty take out container to split her meal as it wasway too much for her. I even offered to pay for the container and I was told they don't give them away or charge for them.Seriously?? After spending $38 I was not able to get a container that costs 50 cents at best and that I was willing to pay for?What poor service!! This would never be the case at a different type of establishment. Will probably not return here again... Read more

Food was served cold ordered oxtail just as new container was brought out. Cabbage was warm at best, but the meat was cold.... $19.00 for cold food. Read more

I must say that out of all the locations in Broward, this location displays the customer service along with the good taste of... food options. However, I believe timing with this location is a juggle when it comes to consistent quality of the food you willreceive. An earlier reviewer alluded to the same. I've been here twice before, spaced out and both times were around the startof their lunch time. At that time, the food was hot, fresh, and I was definitely certain I would return for a visit without adoubt. Remembering the deliciousness, freshness, and well seasoned entrees.. I decided to return this week for a meal.Unfortunately, this time I made a visit to this location closer to dinner time. Although the customer service was pleasant, thefood was not. Leaving us to take a bite from the chicken in oxtail ordered and a scoop of the rice. Only to discover the ricewas extremely hard, stuck together, and missing the flavor. The meat s were fine but since you're often provided a deep pot ofrice greater than the meat the entire meal was tossed. This leaves us to the conclusion that timing may be important for thislocation when choosing to enjoy a meal. Note: The earlier, may be the better for the purpose of quality. Read more

My first time eating at this location. Thought I would try it out. Got the lunch special jerk chicken with rice and peas, salad... and plantains. Honestly The chicken was very dry did not have a good seasoning to it. It didn't do it for me at all. Will stickwith the Dutch pot. Read more

Just ordered a Jerk Pork dinner from here and it was terrible. I bit into a piece and thought it was a bone but it actually was... a burnt piece of meat. Figured it was just that one piece but no, almost my entire meal was fried way too hard and burnt. Themeat was dry and not moist at all. I couldn't finish my dinner and wasn't able to enjoy my meal at all. Extremely dissapointedand will no longer purchase from this location. Read more

I got the jerk and curry chicken and it was the absolute worse chicken I ever had. It was dry and tasteless. Boil meat doesn't... taste good it needs braising and at least some grease. patty was the same very dry, that should be taken off the menu. Read more

There has GOT to be a better way!! The food is not great but if the customer service was just one step up, It could make the... entire experience so much better. We walked in and asked for the menu, ?you have to scan it? ok, do you have any stew peas? No,it finish? ok, do you have any steamed veggies? No, it done.? Donna, PLEASE, customer service is soooo very important, youremployees are rude, abrupt & do not care about how the food or the restaurant is represented. Your prices are high, so theleast you can do is provide quality service. People work hard for their money, please train your employees how to be customerrepresentative. They appear to be angry, hostile & unhappy. The food isn?t great, customer service isn?t great & even though Itry to support black & Caribbean owned business, this?? is NOT good for business. Never been here my wife is Jamaican and loves the food here. So we stopped so I could try eating breakfast here. My wife ordered... her food when we tried to order my food the food server took a change of attitude and did not like that I was going to order afew different things. So since she was clearly upset and not in a good mood I told her forget my order that I no longer want totry Donna's restaurant and I will never come back to any Donna's again. I know the food service industry is tough but when theserver cops the attitude on 2 customers and chases of a future return customer she should really reconsider her choices ofemployment and go elsewhere to work. Sorry Donna's but your employee ruined my first experience with your establishment and Iwill never recommend this company to anyone to dine at. Read more
