Good food but nothing exceptional. Our waiter was great. He was attentive, informative and helpful. We ordered a potent vodka... cocktail and Chicken Kabobs. The little one went with the chicken tenders and fries. The kabobs were good: juicy, soft andflavorful. The chicken tenders were also good but felt a little lacking on the flavor profile. Wow! What a wonderful surprise! Lunch was extraordinary! Flavorful an organismic for the taste buds. Fresh, full of flavorful... delights. Atmosphere is relax a little loud but not to distracting. We came in late after a graduation at 9:15 during the week. The hostess was ready to seat us then said 25 minute wait. I noticed... several tables open and counted 6 of them. We continued to ponder at the hosted stand asking questions and the hostess gotannoyed and advised another one of the hostesses that we have lots of questions and walked away. The next hostess reasons wasthey have reservations for those tables coming in at 9:45 which turned out to be false. We were turned off at this point butstill very hungry and then seated the next minute by the first RUDE hostess. I think I saw one customer came in after we didthat didn't go to the bar as we could see the front door from my seat. After we got started the server was very nice and wenoticed the manager flying through helping out as he probably cut staff earlier due to the rain and seemed a little shorthanded. Since we were probably a pickup table would have been better if the hostesses were trained to tell the truth and statewe are short staffed and will need a few moments to get you a server instead of lying. The food was excellent and this is whywe came here in the first place. We had the parmesan fries. A shrimp salad, a tuna bowl and a steak entree. Doc B's.... huh......?!? Hold on............. Don't let that be your thought and I'll tell you why! We came for dinner, it was... late and couldn't really figure out where we wanted to go... After deciding not to visit one of our favorite places to eat (notan advertisement) so we could try something new, I did some research and stumbled across this gem! Being born and raised here Ialways try and support local businesses, which is why I haven't tried Doc B's sooner being originally from another state (Ibelieve Chicago). That truly was a BIG mistake. We came late in the night, I believe within an hour of them closing. It stillwas very busy but not overly crowded and was easy to get a table. The restaurant was very clean and our server was verypleasant. Any question I had about the menu was thoroughly answered with confidence. Her recommendations were on point and weactually loved all of them...even though we went rogue on a few! I have to be honest though.... I am not sure everybody willhave the amazing experience I had. I don't want to blow her spot up, but if you ever get the chance to meet SOPHIA..... "Phenomenal" Really! She made us feel as if we were family in the restaurant she is running. That is such a hard thing to doin south Florida and she nailed it! I will ???? be back because of Sophia. The way she treated us, my wife, my kids andmyself..... It was mind-blowing. I can't tell you the last restaurant I went to, where the food and service were competing inmy head for supremacy. Even the drinks from the bar were killer. Great place off the US1 in Fort Lauderdale. First and foremost the service here is impressive. The teamwork at this restaurant... is impeccable. We had Antonio as our server and his excellence in knowing the menu, flavor description, and portion size allowedmy family to enjoy a wonderfully perfect brunch. The food was exactly as he described and absolutely delicious. My husband hadthe chicken kabobs with a cucumber, tomato, feta side. Terrific and experience. We’re in town for a show at the Parker Playhouse and decided to have an early dinner here. Great... atmosphere, very beautiful and attentive staff. We were seated promptly (we made reservations) and service was excellent. Weordered the candied bacon and shrimp cocktail from the starters and were blown away! The bartender fixed up a lovely OldFashioned and our first course was a great success. For a main course we ordered two of the Wok Bowls, shrimp and ahi tuna,which were fabulous. Went on a Saturday after noon Place filled up pretty quickly. Waiters were great and our plates of burgers and chicken were... very good. We were really having a great galentine, so too were guests beside us and over the way. However and an older couplewas seated in front of us and we noticed the woman kept looking over her shoulder with disdain at us having a good time. Neverhad such an experience at a restaurant.
