An employee at Marriott Harbor Beach recommended Boatyard. While googling the menu and reviews we saw they had an happy hour... until 7 p.m. We originally used Open Table to do a reservation. But, happy hour is only at the inside or outside bar so werelocated from an outside table to the outside bar. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere, the food, the service and the staff. Our waiter, Santiago was was perfect. He was... well versed on the menu and the services provided by Boatyard. We loved his menu recommendations. We had appetizers, dinner,"Honey Bread" and drinks from the bar. We will definently come back and bring some family and friends. Read more
Thankfully we made a reservation way in advance because it was busy on a Friday afternoon. We got a table by the dock and it was... perfect. We decided to stick with the captains seafood tower - unfortunately crab season ended just a few days earlier so wedidn?t get the crab. We added on Bimini bread, 6 additional oysters, a Caesar salad and the garlic mashed potato side and leftfull and happy. Definitely a great dining experience! Read more
Excellent service. Awesome foods. Space between tables are good. The steak I got was good but was just not as juicy as I thought... it'd be. The steak did lack flavor but it was accurately cooked to what you wanted. The steak was medium rare but lacking inflavor and juiciness was just mediocre. The salads was a bit underwhelming but it's salad ????????. The tables are clean andtidy. The entire restaurant is lovely and the employees are always willing to help. The waiters/waitresses make greatsuggestions and are super helpful. We constantly got our drinks filled and got our plates taken away on a super timely manner.It also didn't take too long to get our foods as well. It is on the more expensive side for cost but the amazing employeesdefinitely makes the experience worth trying. Read more
Great service at the outdoor bar. Four of us enjoyed cocktails, lunch and dessert. So happy to try the oysters I forgot to get... a picture! Others were happy with tuna nachos and conch fritters. The array of chocolate desserts were fabulous as was theespresso creme brulee. Lovely waterside atmosphere. Read more
Our waitress was so nice and friendly! I?m so upset I don?t remember her name (blonde hair in a low ponytail)I came with my best... friend. She treated me! the salad was so yummy! I tried grilled octopus for the first time it was good as well! Basicallyeverything was cooked to perfection! The ambiance was beautiful/peaceful as well! Tried to make reservations for Friday night and we were told it?s fully booked so we decided to try ?walk in?. When we got... there, the wait was only 2 minutes. Our waitress was the incredible Robin who should get a raise and be promoted to manager.It?s been a while since I got such an incredible service at a restaurant. We order the honey bread and octopus with chorizo andboth were delicious. For main I got the Moroccan style Salomon and it was incredible . This restaurant was right next to our hotel with a good menu and reviews, so we decided to give it a try. The setting, both... inside and outside, was well appointed and welcoming. Our waitress was helpful with our order. For appetizers, we liked theBimini bread and Tuna tacos, though the tacos were very tiny for the price ($20). The Brussels sprouts were too salty and notedible so I sent it back. The Grilled Scottish salmon salad was delicious and we loved all the veggies in the salad. Overall anice dinner. Read more
