Went there yesterday for lunch with an old hockey buddy I hadn't seen for 20 years. The service was great and we ordered... wings. I've tried wings at most restaurants in Fort Erie and surrounding area and these were by far the best without travelingacross the border. Very bid and flavorful! Will certainly be returning soon... This place, sorry plaice is incredible! Food is outstanding, I attended a retirement party here so had an opportunity to try a... variety of food. Pasta good, roast beef excellent, stir fry vegetables very tasty and roast potatoes excellent. Tried theypizza, wings and ribs, wow! Their wings are out of this world and their pizza would rival any major pizza chain and thensome. Obviously for a restaurant, the food is the major focus, however the staff is also a major contributor to a successfulestablishment and all of the staff at The Plaice is so welcoming, very friendly and engaging, they all make you feelwelcome. Google only permits me to rate out of 5, I would give The Plaice, a 10 out of 5. Great job everyone, it was such apleasure! Read more

They do amazing classic buffalo wings here, and actually have proper blue cheese to dip. A damn rare thing in Canada this is.... The staff is fantastic, and very attentive. I went back twice in the same day because the wings are that good. The crowd here isvery friendly, and to me it looks like a proper neighbourhood gathering point. Perfect place to watch some sports and have acold drink. Read more

Had a great time at the Plaice. They had a live band (Red Light District), and they were amazing. Played tons of sing along... tunes. Service was excellent. Even though it busy they checked on us multiple times. Food was tasty but the mozzarella stickswere undercooked so the cheese was a little stiff but tasty non the less, sweet potato fries were perfect, and the burger wastasty but overcooked a bit. If the food was perfectly done it would have been 5 stars because the taste was excellent. Read more
Fish and chips were spot on, but while the classic poutine was good, there was way too much gravy at the bottom of the bowl.... Maybe serve it in a more shallow dish to spread it eventually. It did taste good though, so no complaints there. Lovely staffand just an all 'round nice place to grab lunch :) Read more
