Reviews for Sushi JeJu in Fort Collins, CO
Awful service not the place that used to be.We showed up for dinner at 7 pm on a week day, closing time 9pm. Restaurant was... empty outside and inside not all the tables were occupied. We asked for a table and the guy said we are busy and walk away, Iasked for a table again a he said we can do appetizers not sushi. 50 minutes or more wait for sushi he said. We were only twopeople. Very disappointed with the costumer service, I'm not sure if the place has a new owner or what is going on but for sureit's not the same place I used to go before the pandemic. it was our favor place for sushi and now I will probably notcomeback. First went to Jeju about 20 years ago and the food was always fresh and tasty. Got the chance to go again while we were visiting... and it was still good, though a bit slow even without a lot of customers. The server was also pretty unfriendly and though I dolike the food, I didn't particularly feel welcome to come back. That was one time in 20 years though, and I don't want to basemy entire review on just one server, I hope it's an isolated incident! Read more
The servers are really great no problem there but the sushi was very gross both times we went. Some rolls were WAY over stuffed,... others tasted soggy and/or sour, and others just tasted so bad I couldn't swallow. We ordered 4 rolls and only ate half a biteof a piece off of each. Nothing was taken off the bill, not that we asked but if you see nothing was touched and were told thatit wasn't good at all I would think it would have been a courtesy to take something off. Also at 1st we didn't get pickledginger we got pickled pimento and was told it was ginger then when we told them the issue they brought out actual pickledginger. Service is great the food not so much! Read more
Delicious food and a nice environment. The bento boxes are great and they have the best miso soup I've ever had. I've only gone... twice (both during lunch). I give a four star cause I found a hair on my sushi which, you know.... is not ideal. Read more
Had a great meal here tonight, very nice atmosphere and the food was superb. Took a little bit for our order, but this is... beautifully crafted cuisine as you can see by the Dragon Roll. Service by Rene was fantastic! The Dynamite Bowl was unlikeanything else I've had and is a must try! Fried green tea ice cream for dessert? Yes, please! Read more
The tempura vegtables were good. A few small black bugs kept swarming our food and landed in my girlfriend's sushi. The sushi... itself tasted old with room temperature yellow tail. The green tea was fantastic, as was the service toward the beginning. Wedidn't see our waiter again until it was nearly time to pay. The noodles were also okay. We will come back for the hot green teaand maybe to try their lunch special and desserts in the future. If you really want fresh quality delicious sushi, go to Darumain Greeley by the UNC campus. It's less than a fifth of the price for better quality sushi and tempura. Read more
I like sushi. but I have never eaten at this restaurant before. that being said I found it to be delightfully flavorful and full... of good stuff. The miso soup was well-flavored seasoned and just the right amount of salty. Service was great and the ambianceinside the restaurant was wonderful. A lot of people were eating outside it's not something I would do because of traffic noiseand loud trucks but it looks like some people were enjoying it. five stars for a great dinner perio. Came to FoCo for the weekend. For $20 a roll I would have expected to at least be able to eat it. I was able to eat one piece of... each roll before I had to call it quits. The fish was definitely not fresh- the freshest fish on my plate was imitation crab-the ?marinated? tuna was more like jerky- the edges were hard, the shrimp was chewy, the rice was undercooked. I watch the chefmaking the sushi use the same rag to wipe his hands, knife and surfaces so definitely contamination issues. Read more
