A great location in the heart of Old Town Fort Collins makes this a favorite for locals, tourists and students. A good... selection of local beers can be enjoyed on the patio or in the large restaurant area. Service was prompt, friendly andattentive and the indoor seating area had comfortable booths and plenty of tables. The location in The Exchange development isgreat for those exploring Old Town on foot and the modern, informal design includes plenty of large openings to the surroundingentertainment district. The ambience was great and the sound level comfortable for conversation. One less star for a few fliesin the dining area, and should a Chimichunga really have hot dog pieces inside? We reserved an area at Penrose to accommodate 17 people for a graduation luncheon. Everyone at the restaurant was helpful and... kind, from making the reservation through the end of our luncheon. Upon arriving, I asked the bartender if she would please havea margarita waiting for my dad, she made it and brought it to him immediately. He claimed it was the best margarita he ever had.Our server was cheery and so organized. She brought out drinks and appetizers quickly and got every order correct in our partyof 17. What could have been crazy and chaotic was instead very fun and relaxing. I highly recommend Penrose for 2 or for 20.They can handle it with ease. Read more

Penrose is a great place for group dinners, eating alone and everything in between. American style restaurant with a full menu... that will please anyone. Large local craft beer selection and large wrap around bar inside. Their back entrance is in TheExchange Place so you can get outside seating in the front or in the Exchange. Read more

Had a great lunch experience. The server was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the Cobb salad and subbed out the... gorgonzola sausage for more bacon and bleu cheese for cheddar. It was a large serving and I couldn't finished it. My companionhad the pork belly sandwich which was also tasty. Read more

Great taproom! We stopped in for dinner while we were in town and tried a few of there home brewed beers along with the poutine... and burgers! The beer was awesome, I had the Coconut Almond Porter and loved the hint of coconut in the beer. Burgers wereamazing also! Definitely recommend stopping in! Read more
