This place is super disappointing now. It used to be the best sandwich place in Fort Collins and now I literally cannot get a... sandwich there. I have taken my time twice in the past couple of months to go there, and both times they are closed. Once was inthe middle of the day and I actually walked into the place, and an employee turned me away. The second was tonight at 8 p.m. andit was already closed despite their hours saying they are open until 9 p.m.. I will not be wasting my gas or time and attemptingto return to Obee's again. I have been coming here for years and used to love it. Since I had moved a few years ago right before COVID I haven't... been. Decided to stop in today and was pretty underwhelmed with the size of my sandwich. It seemed fresh and came out quicklybut my spicy Italian sub with no extras was $20 and was mostly bread. this used to be the spot in town to get a huge heavy,delicious and fresh sub to be enjoyed for multiple meals. I ate this whole meager sub in one sitting. Things have changed herein a not so good way. So if you want a $10 sub for $20, this is the place to go. Read more
Obee's has been serving up good eats for as long as I can remember! One of the only true deli's in foco, that shaves the meat... right as they place it on your sandwich! Also one of the only places in foco that you can get a 16"sub, which makes it moreeconomical when I share a 16" with my partner! However since the pandemic obee's has an order at the front of the store counter,no more watching them make your sub as you go down the line like a traditional delicatessen, no more choosing from cold bins ofveggies and sauces. You gotta order it all at the beginning and hope they make it the way you want it. Please take out yourlittle awkward front counter and go back to a regular style deli! Yesterday, my husband and two children went with me to order sandwiches at Obee's. We always eat there whenever we get time to... visit Fort Collins from F.E. Warren Air Force Base. Our order came out quickly, but we noticed the two sandwiches for ourchildren were not made correctly with the toppings we had requested. I politely went up to the side counter by their sodamachine, where an employee came over and said, "Can I help you?" I explained that my two kids' sandwiches were made incorrectly.He stood there staring at me for a few seconds with a short reply, "So what do you want me to do about it?" I said, "I don'tknow, fix it or give me my money back?" Then, he rudely replied, "What's wrong with them?" I responded with, "The first sandwichwas supposed to have ranch and tomatoes and the second sandwich was supposed to have mustard and olives." He grabbed bothsandwiches and rolled his eyes as he turned away from me without another word. I walked back to sit down and explained to myfamily how unkind he was to me. My husband watched him remake the sandwiches and when he dropped them off he quickly said,"Sorry about that" and walked off. I could only eat my sandwich for a few minutes before I couldn't take it and broke down. Iwalked out of the restaurant and waited for my family to finish eating while I waited in the car. We were huge fans of Obee'ssandwiches, but I cannot remember a time when I was treated so poorly as a customer. I don't know the employee's name, but hewas the one who was standing outside in front of the establishment smoking cigarettes. I get it we all have struggles in life,but I didn't realize that fixing sandwiches that were made incorrectly could be such a hassle for him. Due to how I wastreated, we will not be returning anymore. I wanted to share this experience with customers and management as a caution thatthis employee was extremely unprofessional. Read more

Oh my God, this is the place to be. If you want an authentic Italian sub, you come here you ask for Ben and he will give you the... best sub you?ve ever had. It?s amazing the hard work they put into making each and every single serve, and they?re delicious. Icouldn?t ask for a better experience and I?m from New Jersey and this is an authentic jersey sub.
