Reviews for little on mountain in Fort Collins, CO
Our experience at Little was out of this world! We sat at the bar with a view of the chefs at work and everything we ate from... the burrata with fresh palisade peaches, to the octopus tostada, to the steak frites reminded us of traveling through Europe andeating some of the finest foods there. Chef Louis and Chef Andy were so knowledgeable and professional. Our new favoriterestaurant in town! Read more
I went for an anniversary dinner a few weeks ago. The food was fantastic but the service was very, very odd. Knowing this is a... popular spot in town, I booked my reservation about as early as I could. Finding the front door was difficult enough for somereason but when we finally made it inside it took about 5 minutes to be greeted. I tod the host, who then later became ourserver (we?ll touch on this in a second) that I had reservations. We then had to wait for them to find a wobbly table whichresulted in us sitting right next to the front door where nearly 30-40 people went in and out during our visit. After sitting atour table for nearly 15 minutes the gentleman who greeted us finally came to check in. He uttered the usual ?any drinks tostart?? He took our drink order and then no more than 5 minutes later a different server came over to take our drink orderagain. We politely told him we had already been helped. Then, another different server came by to take our order again. It wasvery unusual to have our drink order be taken by three separate servers? The one highlight of the night was the speed andefficiency of the kitchen. We ordered the turnips (pictured) to start which came out lightning fast and tasted spectacular, bravo garde manger. We then moved on to our main courses, the duck (pictured) and risotto. The duck was perfectly tender and themint green bamboo rice was something I had never seen or heard of before, however, it tasted incredible. My girlfriend orderedthe mushroom risotto which was flawlessly cooked with hints of white wine, parmesan cheese, and, what I can only imagine as madein house, flavorful mushroom stock. Long story short, you can taste the passion that the chefs and cooks have put into thismeal but sadly the entire experience was hindered by the front of house staff and their lack of attention to detail. It felt asthough this special night for me and my girlfriend was forgotten. The first server we had was never to be seen ag Read more
Absolutely phenomenal. Amazing experience from greeting to check. Very nice wine list. The French onion soup is decadent, rich,... and great for a cold night. I had the sturgeon fish with pumpkin purée, blackened cauliflower, and black garlic for my maincourse?incredible. Coming from Atlanta where the food culture is burgeoning, I didn?t expect to find such a gem in Fort Collins.I am so grateful for my friend?s recommendation because this restaurant knocks it out of the park. Highly highly recommend. Read more

Their food was very good. My friend and I were lucky to sit at the bar, behind which all the chef and cooks were working on... cooking dishes. We had 3 small dishes which the photos are. It was a busy night, because I could see the cook in front of me wasconstantly making appetizers. The taste and the appearance of the 3 dishes were great. Everything was fresh sourced and made. The price were higher than regular restaurant in Fort Collins. Read more

Mussels- good size, great flavor with the coconut sauce and the lemongrass. Tostada- octopus is plentiful and tasty, salsa... negra great along with the guacamole and other greens. Tagliatelle- pasta was al dente, the morel mushrooms were very meaty. The sliced truffle is a good accent. Peas were a little undercooked but manageable. Desserts, Eclair- split in betweenvanilla ice cream on chocolate with sprinkles. Good flavor The other I can not remember but there is a picture of it here. Itwas ok.... not eclair good but solid Drinks, Lemon drop martini's... great! Brunch is off the charts good! We had theChilaquilas and the egg sandwich. Also had a couple of their pastries. The place is just has everything dialedin. Overall, Food is good, the staff is a finely tuned machine that works well in a very small space. There is a lot ofenergy inside. The staff is friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. They have 12 items total on their dinner menu andthere is nothing on there that we will not try on the future. Read more
