My family and I went to Jax for the first time tonight for my mother's birthday and it was one of the best dining experiences... we've each collectively had. To start out, we had the peel n' shrimp along with some happy hour drinks. To say all of which weredelicious is an understatement! Our server Regan, was incredible. After we had finished, she brought out warm towels for us toclean our hands with, which we thought was such a personal touch. She was incredibly attentive and very personable. We theneach got an entree, I got the salmon, my mom got the crab, and my dad got the NY strip. My meal was incredible, my mom's crabwas out of this world, and my dad's steak was cooked to perfection. We then had the Love Potion #9 for dessert and MAN OH MANwas that an amazing martini! The ambiance was so welcoming and the service was impeccable! There was never a dirty dish on ourtable for more than a minute. RUN, don't walk to Jax for dinner! You will have an amazing time. Thank you so much for making mymother's birthday so special!!! My brother and I stopped by for dinner - food was great as always, this place never disappoints! Drinks were delicious and so... were our meals. Our server Regan R. was fantastic! Personable, friendly, great customer service!! Hope everywhere I went serverswere as kind as her! We recommend the salmon entree and the calamari and the octopus appetizers! Great flavors and justmouthwatering! The cucumber cocktail was excellent. Don't recommend the lobster mac & cheese - it was a little too dry and oilyand not "cheesy" or creamy. Can't say enough good things about our experience at Jax last night for my 30th birthday dinner! First of all, our waiter,... Jeff, was absolutely fantastic! Give that boy a raise! He immediately asked what our 1-year-old daughter's name was andinteracted with her throughout our dinner. She began to get fussy, so we asked if we could order her mac and cheese right away. It wasn't two minutes later that her mac and cheese was brought out! We were all amazed! The food was delicious as always andthe service was impeccable. We loved our experience and the food was amazing! We have been on the hunt for good seafood (being from the coast). The tuna and... shrimp was amazing! The tuna was cooked so perfectly and the side dish and spices were perfect! We are definitely coming back!Will definitely have to try the oysters and crab next time! Read more

Prime location on College Ave. Seafood is fresh. Outdoor seating on sidewalk limited but some have shade. I went light and had... the small caesar along with the crab cake as my main dish. My daughter had the salmon and enjoyed it very much. Read more

Jax is a great experience. Every time I eat here I always leave satisfied. I always order oysters and their selection is... awesome. East coast and west coast oysters. Every time my wife or sister orders anything else they say it's alwaysdelicious. The service is excellent and so is the atmosphere. I highly recommend! Read more

Best dining experience so far in FC although have not been to many restaurants around town. Food is usually prepared with care... and delicious. Presentation is A+. Been here about 3 times since getting here and staff is always very professional. Dressedprofessionally at all times as well. Love coming here. Read more
