I have mixed feelings, as Envy provided a location for our children to learn pottery basics from local artisans while we had a... few beers, but our second visit was a different story. When we entered, my wife asked the person working behind the bar (todayat 2:45 PM) where we could pick up the pottery or kids had created. We have been pumping our son up about this trip to Envy, saying we could grab his art creations and check them out while we have lunch on the patio. The man behind the bar interruptedmy wife while she was asking where we could retrieve the pottery, saying (all caps intended) ?THEY?RE ALL UP FRONT.? and turnedaway from us. She then asked if there was a food menu available, and the employee (hopefully not the owner) turned around, glared, and very dramatically pointed to some scattered menus laid out several feet away. We asked if we could sit outside, andhe just glared again, and turned back around. At this point, you may be thinking that we were being rude and I?m leaving some ofthe story out, but that?s not the case. Our 7 year old son had no objection to immediately leaving after he had been excitedabout this visit for weeks. We won?t be back, which I know won?t be problematic for this establishment, because we were made tofeel like unwelcome outsiders. We did find a new spot though, which was awesome! (they even said hi to our kid, weird) Read more

While the beer was fine, the service was horrible. Not sure if the guy that waited on us was the owner, manager, something, but... he acted very put out having to get up from a table having his own beer with other patrons and get behind the bar. He actuallynever spoke - just looked as us like we were imposing. I order our 2 beers and again, no words, just a put out attitude whilepouring. The bartender came out from the back at that point and was pleasant enough. There are too many places in this townthat serve fine to excellent beer and have fantastic service. We'll not be back at Envy. Read more

Durst time here and they have an awesome space. Inside lots of tables and chairs and some board games. Outside picnic tables... and other seats. They actually have a decent food menu like pizza and ribs. Oh yea beer was good too. Staff was friendly andattentive. Read more

One of the best breweries I've ever been to. They have a beer for everyone and the staff is amazing. Also, the food is... surprisingly good for the price. Read more

First time here and we loved everything! The place is cute and airy, the food is very well done and tasty (especially the ribs... and the naan), not your regular whatever just to follow the beer. And the 3 beers we tries were great! (triple, creamy ale and adark one). Read more

Outstanding brewpub in SE FoCo. I'm a craft beer connoisseur and was very impressed on my first visit to Envy and look forward... to returning. Phenomenal small batch beers on a frequently changing tap list. A eclectic mix of sours, pilseners, and ales, withseveral terrific barrel-aged options. Food menu was small but my Greek flatbread was delicious. Outstanding service too. Read more

We stopped by yesterday to try their beers. We had a great time talking to the brewer Bryan and Dana the beertinder. We learned... a lot about their beer and had a few laughs along with some super beers! I like that they have the standards like Phils, IPA,Red, etc. but they also have many more beers that a quite different for those who like to try something outside of the box. Wehighly recommend Envy Brewing....great beers and great staff! Read more

Envy just opened. I get excited when new places come to town. Envy however still needs to dial some things in. The taproom... isn't really anything remarkable. It's fairly basic. They do have a nice touch by having the brewing area open to view. And thecopper tanks they have are especially nice. Again, while nothing in the taproom really stands out, the tanks are a great showpiece. The beers are average. I do think they likewise need to be dialed in. The English Mild is good, probably the best of thefour I had. The others had this odd, slightly thin/puckering aftertaste. In the case of the Winter Warmer, it was almostmetallic. The beer was still good, but I think they would be better w/o these off characteristics. As beer opinions go, each totheir own. Tastes vary. Try them for yourself. This was my #217 Colorado brewery. So it's not something I do just to "filltime." I'll definitely be back to Envy. It's interesting to watch and see how breweries grow and change. Staff was spot on! Read more
