Got here for happy hour to watch the early Nuggets game. The beers were great with a decent selection. The John Wayne burger was... very respectable. Delicious burger patty. Curly fries were cooked perfectly. I also had a Tater Totchos appetizer. This was nicepile of crispy tater tots covered with cheese sauce, sour cream and fresh Pico. There were even fresh jalapeno slices. You'llwant a fork for these cheesy treats! If I had one complaint it was that no one seemed to know anything about the Nuggets game orAltitude sports. I asked about the game a couple of times and when it did not show up on any the many tvs that wrap the place Ialmost left. A nice bartender Lindsey found the game and the night was saved. And yes, the Nuggets won! Pro-tip: some regularscame in for Wednesday Night trivia (that was fun too!), but they just went and found some of the TV remotes and got the game ona couple of the other TV's. This seemed to be pretty copacetic since the patrons understood what was on and the busy staff waswell, busy. Pro-tip 2: Make sure to say hi to the sweet little mini aussie Stella. She's a doll! We have biked by this location a ton and ogled the rooftop bar. Yesterday we decided to stop in on a beautiful fall day. The... rooftop is amazing. The fall colors, the sun, and the view of the hubbub after a surprising win for CSU makes this bar a greatlocation. However, after trying to order one of the five beers they were suppose to have up there and it being unavailable ourfeelings went down a hair. Then we ordered a margarita but were told they were unable to do frozen ones at this time. Well,okay.... Next we ordered two painkillers (drinks) which again aren't frozen (which they offer on the menu) and she comes backwith one (filled to the brim with ice, see below photo, you couldn't even move your straw around!!) and says they don't have thematerials to make another. Well, okay...Someone in our group ordered the wings and two people said they were fantastic. Theydid look good! Then we tried to order another beer which didn't ever make it to our table, but unfortunately and maybepredictably, did make it onto our bill. The margarita and painkillers were $10 each but filled with that much ice it wasridiculous....and a Pacifico for $8??? With so many restaurants and bars in Fort Collins we probably won't be back which isunfortunate since the rooftop has a great vibe! Read more
Supper friendly staff, very good bar service. Always willing to strike up a quick conversation. Good beer selection too,... recommend trying the storm peak chowder. Chase, the bartender was knowledgeable and a cool guy. Definitely will return. Read more

My favorite place in Fort Collins so far. The burger was a five napkin, don't dare put it down once you start, dripping, messy,... flavor fest. I had the Mahalo burger with ham and pineapple and OMG. The upgrade onion rings were crispy perfection. Genuinely friendly staff. Basically a sports bar but I can tell you this place has a manager that knows what's what. I'll beback to the Back Door. Friends, food, and fantastic vibes - Back Door Grill is a spacious and vibey location to enjoy a drink, get together with a few... friends, and just enjoy a late afternoon. There are a variety of drink options available, along with delicious food to accompanyyour $2.50 "train shot" everytime a train passes by Laurel street. There is always a diverse selection of happy hour drinks andmeals as well, transcending the realm of traditional bar food. Back Door Grill also has three seating locations - the firstfloor/patio, the the second floor bar and dining room, and the rooftop bar. This is also a great location for those into sportsfollowing, with several huge TVs on the second floor. All of the above mentioned is highlighted by the locations art and muralwalls, with skate/snow boards often attached to the ceilings. All in all, highly recommended. Read more
New favorite spot! Went here on a random date night adventure and discovered this hidden gem of a joint. Food prices are super... affordable, especially during any of their insane happy hour specials. The rooftop patio is amazing and the service wasenjoyable. Fiance who isn't a big sweet tooth liked the milkshake which is rare. Check out the walls of drawn on dollar bills. Read more
