First time experiencing this place with my in-laws. We got a spread of the catfish, shrimp, crab cakes, fries, and two wing... flavors (Jerk & Honey Hot) EVERYTHING WAS HOT, FRESH, and DELICIOUS!!!! Owner makes you feel like you are family and thedaiquiris are dangerously good! Small establishment so not a lot of sitting room, but the food is so fresh it will hold wellgoing home. I had a taste for some home cooking, really was in the mood for some rice and gravy. I stopped at Mr. Cajun?s because I was... going to buy a boiled turkey neck then go home and cook some rice to go with it. I walk in and was greeted with warm smiles asusual. I was then told that they had turkey necks with rice & gravy and green peas today. LET ME HAVE IT!!!!!! Y?all it hit thespot, well seasoned and delicious. Edit: at first we were very impressed. However, in the past 6 months or so we have had the food here three more times, and the... price seems to be going up while the quality goes down. Staff is less friendly. I am changing my review from 5 stars to two. Wewould have been here weekly but every time we try it again it is just staggeringly disappointing. An example: $14 for a smallside of Mac and cheese with a few scattered, soggy crawfish tails. Or catfish that is 3/4 batter to 1/4 fish. Okay. I wasskeptical of this place because of a few mixed reviews, but we decided to try it out. Was discouraged when our food took 50minutes instead of the 20-25 they told us. But when I tell you this food was worth it, it was WORTH IT. The owner/manager waskind and apologized for the wait. Explained that we can always order ahead. Opened our boxes for us to make sure we wereimpressed. This food is GOOD. Very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Value is good for the food if you order from thespecials. I would just suggest ordering ahead or placing your order and doing some grocery shopping next door, etc. but theyearned every star of my 5 star review. Read more
