Oh man! Where to start. We went here for lunch. Very nice spot and designed well We ordered virgin strawberry daiquiris which... were great and then got lunch. Service: We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Very welcoming Staff. Veryattentive. Food: Waited about 10 mins and were served piping hot food. I ordered the Catfish Po Boy and gahhh dammmm it was soogood. Seasoned well and crunchy as well. Their tarter sauce is home made and is fire! Also the slaw was fresh, crunchy and wasamazing as well. My wife ordered the hit girl chicken sandwich and we split both meals. That chicken sandwich was so damn juicyand was ooozzzing flavor. Had a sweet taste to it. Absolutely no complaints today On the way out we ordered the Banana Foster'sPudding which almost knocked me to my knees as it was sooo damn good. We will definitely be back! Read more

I have visited French Quarter Bistro a few times and the service is very top notch. The owners take time to explain the... different menu choices. The food is made.from scratch which is a huge plus. I've gotten swamp fries with extra sausage andcrawfish on top and was delicious. On my most recent visit I came in and got the oyster po boy and a side of fried ribs. Bothwere exceptional, but the fried ribs are my new favorite. A buddy of mine for the combo meal of large chicken wings and friedribs. I'm excited to go back and try other foods as well. Read more

Ok so, This is my second time trying this place. I am going to give an Honest review as I am a New Orleans Native. The first... time I tried this place I ordered the swamp fries and the beignet's . The food was hot, but the fries I didn't like and thebeignets was not even close to tasting like an original beignet. I would have been ok if it was close but it wasn't.Today Itried the gumbo( something I try not todo because restaurants never come close) the Gumbo looked like gumbo but the rouxdefinitely was burnt. I couldn't even give it a 3, I had to throw it away. The pasta was ok but I am not too found of thecrawfish tails, they were not a normal color once you cook them. They are way too dark and they taste as if they we're refrozenor sat out.I did not finish it.Now remember I eat home cooked gumbo and cook with crawfish tails all the time. Nothing I triedfrom this place has been tasteful or flavorful.This is an honest review based off my personal experience. Will I try this placeagain no. Do I recommend, if you are from New Orleans I do not. There is another New Orleans restaurant that is locally near by.It tastes very similar to home( go there if you want something close or is home sick.) Finally got around to trying FQ Bistro. The Daiquiris are legit. The 32 oz is no joke. The hot girl sandwich was very good, the... fried rib platter was impressive, and the catfish was so good your slap your mama. Not my momma but yours? I came in here to finally give it a shot but I was craving wings that day and to my surprise they had wings. No sauce on the... wings but that didn?t matter! Just a good, juicy, flavorful and super crunchy. I also tried her gumbo, and it was spot on to howyou would expect it to bed down on the bayou. The owner was super friendly and you can tell she puts so much effort into herfood. If you like Cajun/southern cooking, get in here and try this place. Read more

This is our second time ordering take-out. Our food is always hot and fresh. We've tried a lot items off the menu. We've had... pasta, rice, okra, fries, wings, fried ribs, fish and shrimp, smothered fries, shrimp po'boy, desserts, the creamy goodness, thehush puppies, and much more. Food is delicious The drinks are strong and delicious. It's not really big but cozy. Staff wasfriendly. This place is worth a try. Read more
