I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THIS PLACE EXIST AND ITS GREAT! I would have pics if my family had not sucked the food down so quickly!... The food was great and hot when I got home! We had two taco's that were potato egg and cheese, two bacon egg cheese, two sausagepotato egg and cheese, and two Abuelito Sausage Burritos ( which have EVERYTHING on them)! I really enjoy the breakfast tacos. The place is clean food is good and staff is great. I prefer food with a bit more flavor... though and the beef fajita has some more fat chunks than what I like but overall good. Read more
I ordered several (as in 15) street tacos with grilled onions and cilantro, chips and salsa, meat and cheese quesadillas. The... salsa- spicy but very good. The street tacos none of them had grilled onions, only raw which is not what I ordered and to bemediocre was kinda disappointing.. The chips- stale as can be. The quesadillas, very greasy. The asada and al pastor tacos were absolutely delicious and came with rice and frijoles charros. We also ordered a barbacoa... quesadilla that was amazing. They have fresh piña water as well as horchata! My husband and I have been looking for goodauthentic Mexican food in the Forney area and we?re so happy we found Abuelitos! Update! Stopped by for a second time today andthe food is just as delicious. We tried the tacos de chicharrón and gorditas de asada and we were not disappointed. First off. Im a california transplant. I dont miss the politics or taxes, but i do miss my tacos. I tried over 10 places so far... and i have found the best one. The barbacoa. Its little bit above average. Moist n flavorful. The Al pastor was above averagein meat quality and flavor. Slightly dry but not a deal killer. The flavor n texture made this exceptional. The beef/steak.Wow. The best one so far. Reminds me of albertacos in orange county ca. But this one has better meat quality. Now I wish theyhad carne asada fries but ill have to mention this to the owner for a special order lol. The beef was flavorful and tender. Totop it all off the beans they give on the plate are so good. Its addicting. I never really care for beans until today. This is alocal gem. I hope they stick around for years to come. Ill be back!
