Went there tonight on a Wednesday. Steak, orings, soup, salad were good. Will come back!
Very sad to say this meal doesn't deserve a star. The only reason I had to give them one is so I can post this review. This... place has gone down hill so badly. I can see why the parking lot was mostly empty on a beautiful fall day. Said something toowner and she really didn't care. "Sorry you didn't like it." The beef was like shoe leather and as about as tasteless. Unlessthey invest in better products I wouldn't be surprised if they close down by winter. Too bad. They can't call them selves a steakhouse. We changed our order 3 times because they were out. We paid for our beverage and left.... I'm not sure who spoke to us when we went to leave but was rude and tried to argue that there is plenty of steaks. I refused toeat something I don't want!! I'll never return. I haven't been to the Buffalo Head in a while and thought let's give it a try. My husband and I went on a Thursday, They have... different specials daily, this was $5 frozen drinks and the Rib Eye was $24.99 I had the Rib Eye my husband had the broiledhaddock. the salads were a nice spring mix with tomatoes, onions and carrots. The meals were good, service was good, I wouldhave given 5 stars but the vegetable of the day was peas and even though I like peas they weren't so great. We will be goingback sometime soon. Read more
Very disappointing experience. 7 of us wanted steak. We were seated immediately, very friendly waitress. Decor looked like last... update 50 years ago. We were seated in an area of a dinning room with stacked up chairs and two old TVs stored, more like astorage room. We got waters for everyone and 3 of them tasted like they still had some soap in the cup. We ordered steaks andscallop dinners. 3 steaks were fine but one sirloin was very overly seasoned. One medium steak was cooked well. The side bakedpotato was a joke. The picture shows the potato skin dries out and like leather. We asked for replacement steak and potato whichthey did bring a different steak slightly better. They said they were out of baked potato but had mashed. The scallops were notcooked with any sear at all. Overall disappointing and we will not be returning. Read more
Waitress was fantastic. Food was a big disappointment. A one pound ribeye steak struggled to weigh in at 1/2 pound. It tasted... like it was boiled before making it to the grill and had absolutely no taste to it at all. The pork loin suffered the samefate. The dinner rolls were very chewy and not eaten at all. Salads and baked potatoes were acceptable. We had prime rib therelast fall and it was great. What happened? ???????? Read more

We both had the broiled fish. It suppose to be a wine, butter lemon sauce. Did not seem to be at all. All I can taste is... salt and my friends was just peppery. Back potato was hard. The vegetabkes were just frozen mixed veggies. No one else thereon a Friday night. I can understand why. We were there once 15 years ago, never again. Anything worse that I can make at homeis better.
