Had Thanksgiving dinner there. Every part of the experience was great. We arrived early but was seated immediately. Our waitress... and waiter were very attentive to us. The food was great and delivered very promptly after ordering. Would recommend eatingthere. Read more
I came to really like Village Haven until my last visit. I ordered the family style chicken and my chicken was not cooked... properly. Not only that, but I asked for dressing on the side of my salad and it wasn?t. I had problems with some of the food,but some of the service as well. For one, we asked for more cinnamon rolls/buns multiple times before they actually came out.Same thing with the water. I had my plates taken away from me multiple times before I was done with them and, one of them, hadfood I was going to save for leftovers. Very disappointed. Been there before and food was decent , so when my friend suggested it I said ok. My friend ordered fish and chips and was... ok. I ordered the family style chicken. What came to table was a dish with French fries that had a very pale chicken quarter ontop of the fries, by the time I finished with my salad and roll the fries were sitting in about 1/4 inch of chicken fattygrease,yuck and double ???? won't be going back anytime soon if ever. Was there this past Thursday, 7:15 pm The issue was thevery greasy, pale chicken sitting on "top" of the French fries drenching the fries in way too much grease. Read more

Great bar tenders and drinks, chicken is great if they grill the skin and I only have dark meet, so it is moist and delicious.... Had baked stuffed shrimp last night, over cooked, would have been good if it was cooked right.
