Had the meatloaf for lunch. Dry no flavor. Waitress could have been friendlier. Won't return. Someone was celebrating sooo... loud. Didn't seem to care about their surroundings. Or did anyone else say anything. Read more

My mother and I had breakfast here, and halfway through her omelette, she found a plastic bread bag clip cooked into her... omelette, sufficient to say, she did not eat the rest, nor did she want anything further from the kitchen. At check out, thewaitress refused to waive the fee for her plate. We did not refuse to pay the rest of her meal, but did not feel it was tight tohave to pay for a plate my mom did not get to fully enjoy. I will not be coming back here. What a shame. I hope the manager ofthe establishment reads this post and trains his/her staff accordingly. Read more

This place is awesome! Family owned restaurant..father and daughter duo i believe and they are great! I'm not sure why there is... even one negative review. I've been comming here for many years and they never disappoint. Even before the remodel the food andservice was top notch..and after the remodel the place looks amazing, warm and inviting. This place lots of negitive reviews so i thought to give it a try. I dont base going to places based on negitive reviews i do... read them as its enjoyable for me. Lots of "nasty, rude, bad, horrible, key words used but it was far from that for us. I thinksome google reviewers are very sensitive and dont know how to handle situations, so they just come here to put you on blastinstead of giving an actual proper review. You cant mess up waffles, eggs, hashbrows toast and country fried steak, strip steakall were a hit 5/5 food was yes FAST and HOT recommend everything we ate. Waitress there was only 1 so give her some time and bepatient as she is making her rounds she was kind. I think parties of 10 or more forget that there are other tables to theyexpect top notch priority customer service, you cannot get that with one waitress just my opinion. We paid about 67.00 plus20percent tip so do the math, expensive breakfest but it is what it is cook at home if you feel that its too much. Tip yourservers! Read more

Yesterday my Pastor and First lady went to Charlie's restaurant for breakfast and for some of us it was our first time such as... myself. The only waitress on the floor that day was rude to us her tone was unprofessional and she was short and irritated withanyone who had a question I have never felt so mishandled in a restaurant setting. Your waitress should set the tone for theatmosphere of the restaurant she failed miserable this need to be addressed most of us will never return some of us wasapplauded myself most upsetting because of the un professionalism that was given to such a large group who only wantedbreakfast will never go again and yes I'm very insulted for the missed treatment that we didn't deserve. Keeping a positiveattitude and a humble heart will take you far in life unfortunately your only waitress working that day missed it regardlessrudeness is no excuse don't miss the point of your reviews Read more

We came into the restaurant with a party about 13 people..... But they one had one waiters serving over 60 people with an hour... long wait. We seat drinking coffee over and hour and I personally have diabetes and my blood sugar was falling quickly. It'ssad but we got up and left . Charlie's lost over 500plus dollars plus tips... They need to hire more help, I will never eats atthis restaurant on a busy Sunday afternoon...... Read more

I live nearby and I was having my car serviced a few blocks away. I walked to the restaurant to eat breakfast. I was very... disappointed with the poor quality of food and I'm bewildered why this restaurant is still thriving. The hash browns tastedfrozen or freezer burnt. The omelette was mediocre and flat, not fluffy at all; I assume the restaurant is trying to save moneyby using less eggs and no milk or cream so the eggs would turn out fluffy. There are better eating options in the area. Read more

My mom and I have been going here for years. After yesterday?s experience, we both agreed that yesterday will be our last time... dining here. When we first walked in, my mom greeted the waitress. The waitress kept walking and acted like she didn?t hear mymom speak to her. Our food was just okay. Our omelettes were burnt in a couple of areas, pancakes were flat, the toast was hard,and the hash browns weren?t done. She doesn?t check the table regularly and I had to ask for more coffee. The restaurant isnever busy so I don?t understand the lack of customer service every time we have come to this establishment. I also noticed thatthe waitress is friendlier to white patrons in comparison to the black patrons. After reading older reviews, I see that this isnot an isolated incident, this is who she really is. My mom and I would come here because the food was reasonably priced and wewere always able to get seated without a problem. Yesterday, the food and rude customer service was the last straw for us and wewill be spending our money elsewhere in the future. P.S. The man that pours the coffee and cleans the tables is always nice.The owner is nice as well. Read more
