???????????????????? This was awful. I ordered a turkey wing plate with an extra wing and a liver and onions plate. Turkey wings... were undercooked, tough as leather, couldn't cut the wings to get the meat off the bone. The liver was like chewing cardboard, dry and texture of flavored powder. Dressing was the most disgusting of all. Looked and taste like soggy, raw corn meal. $38plate of dog food because I sure couldn't eat it. Sweet tea was good, thats about it. This is my first and last time evervisiting this place. Read more

Down home southern cooking served up quickly and with a smile. The banana puddin' was to die for and their turkey & dressing... dinner was better than some big brand restaurant that I've had. Prices are reasonable for all the food you get. It's servedcafeteria style but does offer seating to dine in. Will definitely go back!! Read more

I?ve been to several so called soul food cafes or eateries and I?ve traveled 40 miles to try out John?s Fine Food. I?ve never... been disappointed in the quality of the food and each time I?m in the Forest Park area, I load up on plates! The food is goodand the service is great. I?ve not had a bad experience at John?s Fine food. There are only a couple of places I would recommendfor home cooked meals and John?s is definitely one! The lines can be a bit long but it?s worth the wait and the people are nice. Read more

Food is always fresh and full of flavor with a great selection. I always get the vegetable plate. Their selection is great for... those who are trying to take a break from meat. I had the dressing w/gravy, black-eyed peas w/ green beans, beets, & mac &cheese. It was delicious ???? FYI : Forgot to tell you their inexpensive! ???? Read more

We?ll be back! I was somewhat intimidated walking in where the presence of an armed citizenry made me think ?where am I?? But,... I realized that I?m not in southern Florida anymore and the people of Georgia have a different attitude towards open carry thanthe metropolitan, sanctuary-city attitudes of South Florida. The friendliness of the people though was second only to thequality of the baked chicken and grilled whitefish. This is a fantastic, healthy but also indulgent, comfort food dinner withcollard greens, candied yams, cornbread, fried okra and stuffing with gravy. I had a sweet tea and I wanted to take some peachcobbler with me but I was so full after eating the enormous portions I decided to leave that for next time. Read more

It was my first time trying the food. I had fried chicken, Mac & cheese, yams. It was ok!However I think it could have been alot better. Wasn't what I expected!! I may re-visit not absolutely sure.
