Reviews for Denny's in Forest Hill, TX
This restaurant is never open. Every time I go there it's closed. The website says they close at midnight so I go at 730 and... it's closed. They never answer the phone. I ordered one time online to pick up at curbside and sat out there 20 minutes anddecided to go in and my stuff is just sitting on the counter and the lady is standing there doing nothing. All the Dennys I knowstay open 24 hours but this one I guess closes when they get their 8 hours in. This has to be the worst restaurant I've everseen and so unprofessional at the same time. I've ordered online twice for curbside and I sat outside until my food literallygot cold waiting on them to bring it out. Finally I go in and my food is on the counter ???? why have the option of curbside ifthey won't bring it out to you? Forest Hill is going to ruin all these restaurants because they all need training and betteremployees. It seems like the predominantly black areas always get worse service than the predominantly white areas. If you wantgood food and service drive to Arlington or Mansfield and save yourself a headache. The hours aren't what's posted online. I ordered ahead and went to pick up my order after work. Arrived at 11:15pm. The hours... online said they close at midnight. The place was dark and the doors were locked. How is this place allowed to function as aDenny's when they don't keep Denny's hours!?! I've never seen a Denny's that wasn't 24hrs. I go the extra mile to get here I pass up at least two other Dennys. The waiter is always nice and sometimes he's overwhelmed... because they're short handed..but the food is still out FAST but made hot and right everytime. This location is in forest hillTX Read more
The staff was incredible. They were super friendly and kind. My food came out fast. And even my sister said she enjoyed it... we've had bad experiences going out to other places. So this was a nice change. Read more
Today is a Thursday and we went in to dine at around 920am. I got the veggie omelette with hash brown and french toast. My... husband got the "ultimate omelette" hash browns and nine grain pancakes. Best meal we have ever had at a Denny's EVER. Servicewas great also. Location access from the street is decent and lot is maintained. Meal was so good I have the receipt and amgoing onto Denny's website next to leave a comment there also. Read more
We came in about 230PM. Only about 3 tables were clean in the entire restaurant. There was one server and one cook so its... understandable that they had been busy. Our waitress took our order, brought our food about 30 mins later and never saw heragain until we got ready to leave. Read more
Food was excellent. Kim waited on us and I can't say more about the great service. manager (another Kim) stopped and introduced... herself while bringing fresh coffee. We'll definitely be back soon! Read more
