The menu is far from traditional ramen. It took soo long. I watched as the people working moved around with no purpose or hustle... in their step. And then to top off the long wait with the employee rolling his eyes at asking for hot sauce or Chilli paste. Sorude, if I wanted to have someone roll their eyes at me when I asked them something I would ask my kiddo not an employee at arestaurant. Will never return, which sucks because I go to school right next door and love ramen. $40 including tip for 2 bowlsof ramen too is a little high. The ramen itself had tastey broth but the meat was not the thin slices beef I'm used to ateverywhere ramen dish I've had but instead it looked like a pile of crumbled meat. Read more

Not sure what the previous person was talking about the staff were super friendly with a smile on their face and prepared my... order faster than what it took me to drive there. Ramen was incredible and at the first taste you can tell the broth is freshand the noodles are prepared with love. Read more

Forest Grove is a bit of a drive for me as I reside in south east Portland, but when I get the chance to or have the craving... for... I definitely swing into Forest Groves best ramen cart. Bamen Ramen has great solid, creative and unique ramen options. Definitely a must check out when in the area. Let them know I sent you. Read more

I had the ramen with cheese. My goodness it was extremely salty. It was the saltiest ramen I?ve ever tasted in my whole life. ... Just like having salty beach water with noodles. I felt like my blood pressure went up after eating this! I always have thisramen before everytime I order from them but this time it was different. It USED to be my favorite ramen. The quantity of thebroth seemed to be less compared before and I also ordered extra broth. There is no consistency on this ramen. Did themanagement or the cook changed? I don?t think I will order from them again. I?m looking for the taste I loved from thembefore. Never again! Read more

Gyoza was hot and tasty. Service was fast. Young man seemed kind of down. Hope your having a better day! Edit: I took a star... down because they are always closed when the website says they are open! I would love to come and get some Ramen but I've beenby twice in one week during their business hours but everything is completely closed up! Bummer Read more

Quite a bit out of our way to get there, but it was worth trying something new. Since I like my ramen to be less heavy and... greasy, I ordered the Chicken Shio ramen. The salt base soup was light and flavorful. My friend had the three cheese JapaneseMazemen ramen bowl. I really enjoyed that very much! The owner was very friendly and helpful in giving us recommendation after Itold him what I like and don't like. It was so nice that they have outdoor seating and heated too. Definitely recommended forthose looking for great ramen! Read more

I had a Bamen Ramen bowl for the first time today and I can't believe I waited this long. I had the chicken shio and it was... absolutely delicious! The Broth had a deep flavor yet wasn't super heavy. The chicken was fabulous and super tender, the noodleshad just the right amount of bite to them and the eggs were tasty. We've lived in Forest Grove for just a year and I've beenwanting to find my go-to place...I'm happy to say, I just did. Bamen Ramen, thank you so much for providing us such deliciousfood. I can't wait to try out the other items on the menu. Read more
