I got a dry hamburger steak with nothing on it, no roll, no cheese, they didn?t have gravy for it so just a dry meat patty. I... also got mash potatoes. I added a drink. I left a $3 tips at the table. Went to the register to pay and she rings me up at$14.75. Where is this hamburger steak special that is posted at the road? I was in and out in 15 mins, had the worst lunch everand was over charged. The food sucked. I didn?t even eat half of it. Arbys and Hardee?s is right next to it. Definitely shouldhave gone there. Would have paid 2/3 the cost and are %100 of my food. I highly suggest to keep driving past this place. Read more

I thought for sure I would go back to this place, because I did enjoy it, but unfortunately I couldn't even get on the... interstate without having to stop at THREE different fast-food places...yes, THREE, to use the bathroom, because it made us sickon our stomachs. The staff was friendly. The only reason I deducted a star is cuz when we first arrived at the restaurant they must serve a great... deal of locals they assumed we knew the procedure and knew exactly what we wanted to eat wanted to know if we were ready toplace our order soon as we got in the door and then walked off. Not until we turn to the left and thought well maybe we setourselves did we see the sign that says order and pay for food first but then after that they gave us a paper menu. There is ahuge menu in front of you once we place our order and paid for our food we set ourselves but then the waitresses did bringeverything out to us, they or extremely friendly and speedy with filling up the drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious Iwould definitely go back and I recommend this place. Found this place on a recent trip to Forest City. Had their vegetable soup and grilled cheese and it was great. You'd think it... would be hard to mess up those two, but other places have definitely done it. I was inspired on another trip to FC today to stopagain and try their meat and 2 veg plate. Was NOT disappointed. Everything was delicious! Only drawback is the fact it's a 40minute drive from my home...lol. Will definitely be coming back more often! Read more

Stopped in for the first time with my daughter because of Trip Advisor recommendations. I ordered the hamburger steak with... chilli and cheese, fries and a salad, my daughter got a chilli cheeseburger. I ordered my wife a grilled chicken salad and aveggie plate consisting of Mac n cheese, broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole. I also got a small side of chicken saladand pimento cheese for my wife to try along with a 16oz of their house made ranch dressing. There were no complaints at all.Everything was delicious. The young lady who waited on us was very friendly as was everybody we encountered. To the waitresswith the tattoo on her shoulder, if you're in the market for a future ex-husband, let me know.
