We live in mcdowell county, about 30 minutes away and have heard from several people that this place was great and man was they... right!!! Service was phenomenal, and the food was out of this world!!!! Definitely best seafood I have ever had, hands down. Theportion size is big too!! We've been eating here for years. Worst experience we've ever had!!! When our food came out, I had ordered Catfish and a baked... potato. I was given cold uncooked Catfish and French fries. I told the waitress I had order a baked potato and she brought meone. Then I realized the fish wasn't cooked correctly. Didn't see our waitress until we had eaten what was eatable. My husbandordered perch and fries his fish was over cooked and cold. The fries and baked potato were eatable, but they weren't hot likeusual just warm. We drive a distance of 45 miles to eat here, because we love it so much. Very disappointed ????!!! Read more
This was my first time eating here. Great service. Staff was very nice. Food was excellent. I ordered steak; side salad and... shrimp with baked potato. I ordered my steak medium. It was a little more done than I wanted but it was still very tender andhad a great flavor. They forgot our shrimp but it was very busy so maybe that's why. I'm not sure. But it only took a few extraminutes to cook it and bring it out. So no big deal. The salad was a good size with plenty of tomatoes which most restaurantsmay give you one or two. And it was more than just lettuce and one other vegetable like a lot of other restaurants. Over all Iwas very happy with this place and highly recommend it. Read more
Had lunch with my sister and niece, great food and conversation. Our waitress was great a her job and has a great personality.... If you haven't tried it yo should tell food is good the service is great and if you don't have someone to have lunch with and anice conversation with I can always use more friends Read more
Visiting from Florida couldn't believe how reasonable the food was I had a jumbo shrimp lunch for $8 easily over $20 in Florida... usually not as good place is amazing service is great packed out right at lunch time on a Tuesday but sat right down so goodtook an order to go home definitely be back Read more
Great steak and seafood spot! Been here several times at different times of the day and the food is always great. Order some... hushpuppies and get lost in that delicious tarter sauce.
