When I am in the mood for high quality food at a reasonable price, I immediately consider Corner Burger first. Not only do they... excel in ensuring that their food is high quality, but they also provide outstanding service to their customers. The theme anddecoration of the store itself is highly relevant to the food that they serve. The feeling that you get when you walk in is onethat would be similar to walking into a very clean, modern ranch house. Some burger places are simply too rough and are notclean. The Corner Burger always maintains a clean space to facilitate a enjoyable and comfortable experience for the customers.The food is always freshly prepared and cooked for the customers. Some of the best food! My fiance had the beyond burger and said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. The serving of... fries is enough for several people. Hands down the best fried green tomatoes I have ever had! If you want a low carb option likemyself they will lettuce wrap. Staff is super nice and so friendly. Angela is the best! Highly recommend! Delicious delicious delicious!!! I tried the Southern Charm burger and it had lots of flavor. The fries were also really good.... The new spot is very spacious. No outdoor seating. There are a few TVs, which hopefully you can watch some games during theseason. Overall cool ambiance. Read more
My fiancé and I just left. We both ordered the Smokin Good burger. Absolutely AMAZING! The young girl who took our order... was very nice. The manager was very friendly as well. Our burgers were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fantastic. I?veread complaints about the fry portions but there were so many that we split them. If you are looking for cheap burgers,McDonald?s is up the road. If you are looking for local, great tasting food then I highly recommend. Don?t expect to eat hereif you are in a budget. Tasty. Expensive. $46.55 for the following: a single burger, a double burger, one order of truffle fries to split, two fountain... drinks, and a modest tip. (Two of us ate for roughly $23 each.) There was a tip option very strongly implied during checkout onthe PIN pad; mind you, ordering is done at a counter, you essentially ring yourself up, a tray is brought to your table, andthat is where service ends. You dispose of your own trash and return the tray to a counter. Just the facts. Service was polite,friendly, and pretty quick (although it was early Saturday afternoon with a half dozen patrons...) Possibly 10 minutes betweenorder and serving. We actually tried to visit Friday evening but the store was packed to capacity. Takeaway, you're paying apremium for a boutique burger. I wouldn't eat Corner Burger regularly for the same reason I wouldn't eat steak every day. Thefood is intended to be appreciated and enjoyed, not exclusively digested. This is not Burger King. The food is not fuel, it'sartwork. Also, as with many boutique meals, the food at Corner Burger is RICH. The wax paper on my food tray had a substantialoil stain. Not an obscene amount, but substantial. Again, not something I think anyone SHOULD eat every day. As for the food,as far as I'm concerned, for the price... It's delicious. Worth pretty much every penny. The burgers were creative, but solidflavor combos. The truffle fries were super tasty. Chipotle mayo was an excellent condiment. I felt like the BBQ sauce was alittle light, but I wasn't really paying $23 for a burger hidden by too many condiments. I will also say, the burgers came outjust barely warm, and I think a few degrees warmer would have been a little more palatable. All in all, I'd recommend it toanyone with the budget at least once. The food is excellent although the menu is limited to craft hamburgers and a couple of chicken items. The fries are the best-... not too greasy and you get a lot for the price. The restaurant is fairly small, adequate for groups of 6 or less. Read more
