Pretty good pizza for the location. Ordered whole meat lovers and hawaiian pizzas to go. The staff was friendly when I entered... and the pizzas came out fresh when picking them up. At first it may look like your average pizza joint, but Sal's Pizzeria is anything but! I wandered in with my family on a... Tuesday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of baking pizza. We ordered the garlicknots and meatballs to start. The meatballs were delicious and the garlic knots were little bombs of buttery, yeasty goodness,and the garlic was robust but not overpowering. When our Grandma Style pizzas arrived, our expectations continued to beexceeded. The crust was crisp, flavorful, and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The marinara and breadcrumbswere packed with flavor, and the mozarella had a great consistency and very little oil. By the end of the meal we were planningour next visit. Looks great after the grand opening! Glad to enjoy my time here. The pizza slices are large and delicious. The new soda machine... has just about any drink you can think of. We?ve ordered take out here a few times this year and it?s been great. The bread for the sandwiches is fresh and the pizzas have... been consistent- great crust and fresh toppings.
