Food is really good, place clean and good service but too pricey
I was looking forward to this new restaurant, but was extremely disappointed. I ordered a "molcajete mixto" and the flavor was... great until I noticed a hair in it. That wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the waiter. Her name is "Erika" or "Elika". Iam not the type to complain but anyone would get grossed out with a hair. I kindly called the waiter and showed her the hair.She looked at me dismissively and asked what I wanted to do. I told her to please take it away which she did, but she walkedaway right away and started helping other people. I was expecting an apology at least or for her to offer a new plate as sheshould or a refund. She stated in a rude tone that she didn't know what to do since managers were not there and walked away. Atthe end she did give a refund but because we had to call her over again, and her attitude and dismissiveness was the worse. Sounprofessional. To the owner: this restaurant has really good potential but with the attitude of that server you will loseclients since she does not have the professionalism, self control, and problem solving capabilities to be a decent server. Ifyou don't mind losing clients then keep her. I left with a bad taste from the hair but with a worse taste from that server.Also: the cook walked by and had no apron or head covering. I have visited both restaurants on Sierra and Foothill. No doubt both have the same quality and taste from anything on the menu.... For several years I have tasted many different meals and there has been no chance of disappointment. Starting from the customerservice, through the outstanding taste of plates they have all the way through the prices. You really pay for quality. I inviteyou to try the 7 mares as pictured below and dare you to finish it during your visit. It takes me 1 hr 15 min to finish it alongwith Michelada and Señorial. If not, try other choice from a wide variety of the authentic Mexican food. I am sure will comeback for more. Read more
Raw oysters were tasty, must request Tabasco with them. Grande burrito that came with carne asada was very well seasoned and... meat was tender. Not a fan of beans but there beans were authentic and delicious I wouldn't mind having them again. Fish was bigand well seasoned and the soup they give you when you get there with the tostada shells was SO good I even added the chipotlemayo on my shell which made it greater, and their customer service was beyond great. Will recommend this place. They also servesushi which I will try next. Read more
This place was amazing! Fresh seafood and a good selection of beer. The only downfall was the amount of staff working couldn't... keep up with the demand. I wasn't affected so they get 5 stars but i can see it as a problem for the future. Read more
