Let me just say??. This place is bomb. They pupusas are huge and the flavor is lip smackin. First bite I had to call them and... give them some good feed back on my food. He thought I was going to complain but I just wanted to let them know, I was verypleased with my order and I appreciated them. The service was home welcoming. I?ll definitely be coming back here again. Not tomention I only paid less than $15 for four pupusas and a drink. That?s a win for me! Read more

You want best tasting Salvadorian food? This is the place. Good portions, prices are fair. Fast serving, staff is very cortious,... and friendly. The closest taste to the food from El Salvador. It's "Oh my God" good. Read more

Pupusas sucked! Not filled properly, burned.nothing like los molcajetes in East L.A.it's one thing for the cheese to be... melted/slightly charred around the pupusa.but these guys were literally burnt..they had ample time to prepare them.wait time was1 1/2 hrs.which I did not mind what so ever.but not for burnt, mediocre pupusas.I also ordered pastelitos with beans and anotherorder with majar.those dudes were also burned.beans were cooked on high heat not simmered a should be.total disappointment.I wudhave returned them if I lived around the area.waste of $65.never going here again.I grew up on some authentic Salvadoreancuisine.u eat it with ur fingers Read more

First time ever having Pupusas! I ordered a Chicken & Cheese with Corn flour and a Shrimp & Cheese with Rice flour. The Chicken... & Cheese pupusa was fire! Amazing, I would visit again just for that. Because it was my first time I didn't know exactly what toorder but now I'd recommend sticking with the traditional corn flour. I don't think there was anything wrong with the riceflour. I'm sure it was cooked correctly, there was nothing wrong with the craft. I just think that the flavor was off since itwasn't corn. I also want to note that I appreciate the intimacy of this establishment. It's not flashy and its atmosphere is afamily feel. There was this old man who came in to deliver a box of supplies, the middle-aged man who took my orderacknowledged his entrance, stopped what he was doing and gave him a sincere hug. The man who took my order had a mean mug butlike resting face so don't let this off put you. He seems like a really nice man! He was attentive to me and my friend. 10/10experience. I would visit again. update: so oddly enough, the Shrimp & Cheese rice flour pupusa is better the next day. Iappreciate leftovers lol Read more

If you?re looking for great pupusas or Salvadoran food look no further, los molcajetes is where it?s at. Food is delicious from... the pupusas to the aguas. Always consistent hot food, service is excellent they go above and beyond to every customer. The Musicthey play makes the mood better and you can also sit inside if you don?t want to take it to go. My go to plate is the típicowhich consists of 2 pupusas, yuca y chicharrón and a plátano frito with beans and crema. Definitely hits the spot. Horchatasalvadoreña is the best I?ve had from anywhere I?ve gone. Prices are very reasonable. Wait is not too bad since they makeeverything from scratch but if you don?t want to wait I suggest calling in your order. I?ve been coming here for years and willcontinue to do so for all my pupusas cravings. Thank you Los Molcajetes ???????? Read more

First of all, thank you for the reasonable prices. When I saw the prices I didn't expect to get this kind of taste. But it was... ridiculously tasty. I guess it is a family owned business, so do not expect to get a fancy restaurant service. Specially, because of the pandemic, staff number is limited for sure and it is not that easy to handle that huge place. So be patient. Theywere all friendly. We waited 20-25 minutes for 4 pupusas. But totally worth to wait. It was so fresh and hot that we had to waitfor 10 minutes after got back to home to let it cool down a bit. The salad was super fresh. Highly recommended ???? Read more
