Went here for the first time with my family a few days ago, I can't say much about the food since they don't offer vegan options... so I settled for fries. The main reason I'm writing this review is because the cashier working that day was just so delightful.I don't remember her name, Angelina maybe? Alright guys im cross about this but the reason I gave a three was because the portion sizes and the price. Okay number one the... portion of the fries was so small maybe because I ordered the single combo but idk, now the fries in question were good theywhere the soft squishy kinda thick cut. Next the burger, I got the pina burger which was pretty bomb and ill admit I've nevertasted a burger like that but it was just to small its just like a snack. Lastly the price I can pay that price elsewhere andget full and still get a bomb burger... sorry Charlie's but overall good food, small portions and overpriced. Read more
For the record,,, I posses 17 years of culinary experience as a restaurateur . So by no means do I get any satisfaction... providing criticisms , critiques and recommendations . My wife and I agreed to support a local small business right here inFontana that isn't nationally recognised by commercials , fancy slogans and jingles . I can appreciate a small business thatstrives to become a recognised name as their current predecessors . What makes Charley's Burgers different than the rest ? Simply ,,, Nothing at all . Lets be honest,,, its just another Burger that takes twice as long as their neighbors notcompetitors . Let me be perfectly clear ..... This is not a condemnation ,,, rather an observation based on our experience as first time customers. You are only as good as your management ..... Where was the manager when the cooks obviously struggled toprepare one single large order aside our order....? I had a deep sense of sympathy for those two guys as they labored throughthe passing minutes . Great expectations .... in some instances lead to disappointments . Covid19 has affected as well aseffected our lives through commerce . It is my hope that everyone support this business with patience and precedence . I alsoencourage the owners and managers alike to think outside of the box and utilize ideas that work amidst these difficulttimes.....
