The food is typical American fare that is well prepared and very tasty without being overly salty. We mostly do take out, the... one time we dined at the restaurant we sat outside and had a good experience. The service was efficient, the staff polite andthe food was as good as always. We enjoy their fries and the lobster roll. Their burger selection is varied enough for everyoneto find one to their taste. Their pricing is affordable, overall the food is good value for money. Oh my goodness! That Dam Place is 100% delicious. I have been a patron at least at least a dozen times and each time the staff... is courteous and the food is delicious. The last few times I have had the specials and they are delicious. My last visit I hadthe mussels which are amazingly delicious. No fishy smell with this entree. Today was Easter and they were open for me to enjoysome delicious Lobster Ravioli's and they did not disappoint with their selection of specials. I ate the whole plate and didn'tregret a single bite. That Dam Place is a great local own restaurant for folks who love food and families who want to enjoygourmet food with family friendly setting indoors or outdoors. We came on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We had to stop because of the name of this place, haha I'm sure glad that we did too. Had... one of the best chicken sandwiches(California something) I've had in a while too, along with fluffy & crispy fries! Service waslovely - my only thing was I could smell the cigarette smoke from her clothes. This is a very interesting place. You walk in and it's almost cozy. They have a lot going on with the decoration but the... atmosphere is very welcoming. Their food creations are unique and have hilarious names. I ordered the clam chowder to start andit was delicious and more full of clams than expected. Our server was super kind and helpful especially being that they had arush after we came in. The chef also did an amazing job with all the orders making sure each order was not compromised by thepressure of time. This place definitely left me wishing I had a second stomach. So happy to find a place with a lobster roll that rivals that I've enjoyed in Seattle, WA! This new place also has a delicious... home made clam chowder. They also serve gourmet burgers, house made fries and onion rings. To try a variety, we ordered theirlobster roll and the "electric burger" (Bleu cheese, grilled onions and jalapeños) with fries and onion rings along with abowl.of their clam chowder. It's about the food. Strip mall location and banner slung across the banal stucco facade make it all the more compelling. Owner... is former CalTrans Civil Engineer who originated from Maine and has brought some dang good Maine food to boot. Chowder fantasticno goopy broth.
