Great hot chicken overall. Got the #2 medium heat with cheese. The heat was on point, the buns soft and fresh, the chicken juicy... and crispy. The pickles are nice deli style pickles that are more than just a garnish. Weakest points were the cabbage, which isoddly thick chunks, and the fries. The sauce for the fries however makes up for the average fries and makes you go back formore. One thing to note, these ?sliders? are not small. One is enough to satisfy, as it?s probably more chicken than youraverage chic fil a sandwich. Overall I am quite pleased. Would definitely come back when I?m craving some hot chicken. Read more
So this Cali favorite opens up next to my favorite bubble tea place. Am I going to go? Of course I am! This place is... surprisingly huge inside, and they have a drive thru that is decently accessible. The murals on the walls are really well donetoo, I love it! Service was lightning fast, I felt slow looking at the 4 menu items for which one I wanted! I had a #4, "Hot"slider and fries with a drink. Went to go sit down, grabbed myself a Coke, and not only was it ready before I had finishedplanting my butt, but a sever was walking it over to me! I did come in about an hour after opening, but this was still greatservice. The chicken was juicy after it's second fry, and hot but not scalding my tongue. The spice was just right, even thoughI could have taken it hotter, it was great for a cool fall day. The kale slaw on top was creamy and crunchy, and the Dave'sSauce was a perfect accompaniment to... Everything! (Love it when a fry sauce doesn't break when you put it on hot fries) Alsothanks for the Industrial strength napkins, I could have leaned up and oil spill with those! Got the medium, hot and Reaper sliders on their grand opening. Chicken was alright. My friends said theirs was juicy, but mine... wasn?t so that?s why I?m giving 4 stars. I would go back for the spice if that?s what I?m feeling. I thought medium was spicierthan hot, which is weird. The reaper was also disappointing, I pretty easily finished the slider with only sweating. Nice thatthey package it separately to keep the normal heat safe lol. Fries are good by themselves, but I?m not in the mood for theflavoring on the fries after eating all the spicy food. Read more
This is the 3rd hot chicken chain that has come to the area in a year. The best part this one has a drive thru. The spicy, slaw,... sauce, and pickles were great. I think the winner of the hot chicken wars and if they really want to compete, in comparison toChickfilA, they should include the drink with the $9.99 meal. Service was quick. We went in at 8pm on Friday night. Line moved quickly and we had our orders ready by 8.10pm. We ordered... Dave#1 and Dave#3. Combination of medium, hot. It was perfect. Not a fan of their plain bread. Tenders were too greasy for myliking. Fries and kale slaw was decent. Liked Dave?s sauce, they were generous with the extra servings of the sauce. Is it possible to have a crush on a sandwich? Because it's all I can think about! I heard this place opened recently and just... popped in on a whim with no idea what to expect. I really like that they have a limited and simple menu. The service wassurprisingly quick. I ordered a #2 with cheese to go. I was practically drooling the whole way home because it smelled toamazing. I almost screamed like a girl when I took my first bite. It was everything I hoped it would be. The chicken was tenderand juicy, the slider bun was nice and soft without getting soggy. The sauce is perfection and the price is in line with today'sprices. My girlfriend HATES anything fried, especially chicken and she even had a few bites, so that's sayingsomething. Unfortunately for my waistline, this place is going to be a regular stop. Read more
