One of those places where you have more outside seating than inside. Great views of the ocean and beach. The fried flounder and... french fries were excellent. The Cole slaw was unique but had a good flavor. The hush puppies were phenomenal. They have a barinside and outside in the seating area on the pier. Lots of liquor selections and a half dozen canned beers. Hopefully the pierwork will be done soon and open up the view, although I did enjoy watching the crane work. Read more
Enjoyed time at the pier while there. Had a few drinks at the bar and the staff is very friendly overall. The drinks are made... very well as it wasn't too strong or light on the liquor. Prices are very reasonable and the music provides an extra point intohaving the relax and good vibes tone set for the bar. Definitely a good place to have a few drinks and enjoy the sun while atthe pier. Read more

We ate at Pier 101 on Sat for mother day. The new restaurant is clean and patio is nice but that was it. New menu is limited.... The fish was half cooked slimy and very fishy. The calamari fries were ok but the dipping sauce was weird. The Waitress woulddisappear for long periods. Might go back for drinks and ocean views but definitely will eat somewhere else. Our favorite spot to eat in Folly Beach! We went for Sunday brunch on the most breathtaking day. 75 degrees, not a cloud in the... sky, and a calm breeze: just enough to refresh. There was a 15 minute wait, but it was nice to stand on the boardwalk and takein the views anyway. They text you when your table is ready which is nice to not stalk around the host stand or touch the ickypagers. Even with the pier under construction, the views were still stunning and mostly unobstructed from the outdoor terrace,and the food and service were great as always. They were busy and almost every outdoor table was seated. It was relaxing andwonderful to take in the day while waiting for our food. Service time was short considering the crowd, and the server wasfriendly and attentive. We are the burger and fish sandwich. Delicious.
