Food was good, service could of been better. The place was super messy. I mean like really really really really really dirty. I... feel like we came in after the church crowd and they didn't have time to clean up. So they left everything on the tables anddidn't sweep the floors. The staff was nice enough but just felt off. They were having strange conversations that didn't feelappropriate when there's small kids in the restaurant. Overall it felt unprofessional but food was good. My waffles barely hadany blueberries in them. I wouldn't visit this location again. ???? Read more

Absolutely great. The server done everything promptly and without our having to ask for a thing. She anticipated everything... correctly. The chicken melt sandwich was fantastic. Juicy, flavorful and down right yummy. Thanks to a good grillmaster. Everything was clean & shipshape. Read more

This Waffle House leaves a lot to be desired!They leave the phone off the hook at night so you can't place a carry out order... but then they want to tax you 10% on top of the bill for getting it to go. But you will usually have to bring the food backbecause your order is wrong or they have forgotten half of your order. The cook cares more about spitting rhymes than cookingfood. And there is a girl that works there who gives me the meanest look every time I come in, as if I have personally offendedher by coming in to order some food. She seems like she would rather be on American Idol than in Waffle House serving. Sheisn'tcut out either. Read more

The food & service were good. Loved the pecan waffles! Beyond that, someone having a medical emergency walked in and the staff... jumped into action to help. They did a great job in a stressful situation. Read more

Disgusting, did not take one bite of my All Star breakfast. Not one but two hairs on my food. One of the two cooks had long hair... and long beard. And no beard net! Thats a health code violation. And the milk was sour. My wife and I were only ones there,aside from one other guest already eating. They were not busy! Read more

horrible experience. Went with my family last night and the worker was slamming stuff and yelling. Took forever to get menus or... anything. Finally got our food and it was either burnt or undercooked. We showed the workers and they remade but it was worsethan before. We got up, paid and left. When leaving the worker that served us flipped us off and when I went to confront her shewent to the back. I want my money back but I have absolutely no way to contact anyone. Always have trouble placing a to go order over the phone. We have 2 Waffle House's and both are pretty close to one another and... to my house. I called both the last few times to try and place an order and and was not able to place my order ahead of timeover the phone any of those times. TheTime before last I got a recording that stated Waffle House was not taking phone ordersvia the phone so I has to go there, order and wait. When I arrived, I asked about why they were not taking phone orders. The server seemed to be clueless about what I asked and said they do take phone orders.. IAs I waited,, I placed a call to the storewhen they were on the phone to see if that's just a call waiting recording and it was.. On May 16th, I called each one back toback for 20 min (11:22- 11:42)before giving up. It took me maybe 8 min to get to the one on Foley Beach Expressway. My guesswas they simply didn't want to answer the phone abd and it seemed, I was right. When I got there there was not one customerthere, no one was cooking either. Only one dirty plate and cup at the counter with barstools. The cook was the only person inthe restaurant. I asked if they were not taking phone orders. She gave me some nonsense about them maybe turning phone off aspeople tend to place an order but go to the wrong Waffle house. The cook claimed they " just had their a***** handed to them."But, by having only 2 dirty place settings, I highly doubt it (as It took me 8 min to get there.) If that was the case it didn'tappear that way. Also they chose to clean rather than answer the phone. I was in the industry over 25 years and I know they hadnot just had a rush that ended and a cook and a pregnant server managed to get the restaurant in tip top shape in less than 8min. waasked if she was working alone to which she replied, no the other girl had to leave to get food cus she ispregnant....umm I thought Waffle House has a big variety of food to suit any one.
