Yummy! Lots of delicious food to select from! You will get FULL here. Endless pass around sides and rolls! Staff was friendly.... Location was clean. I had the steak and shrimp special. Both grilled and fried shrimp are really good! My personal favorite isthe fried. The dumplings were tasty. I was personally not impressed with the steak/ New York Strip. I?m not good with weirdtextures especially when I eat meat and there was a lot of that. The flavor was good though. My mom enjoyed her steak. We woulddefinitely eat here again! Keep up the great work Lambert?s! Read more

Ran across this place in our travels and we decided to give it a whirl. The food was GREAT! Great tea, fast service, we never... needed for anything. The girlfriend had the ribs which were super tasty and I had the chicken livers that had a batter to diefor. We even got to participate in having the rolls thrown at us, which was great! Great country cooking, stop in and give thisplace a try, if you leave hungry, it's your own fault. Enjoy! Read more

Waited outside in line but it was about noon and it was a very quick moving line. Friendly people to talk with about their... Lambert's experience. We were a little cramped at our table of 4 adults and 2 children. Sides were slow to come around and somecame around. We finally ask our server for apple butter and sorghum. The rolls were the best, light, hot melt in your mouthdelicious. I ordered the plate of sides, my husband got the chicken livers light, crunchy, not greasy. Best I have ever had. Thechicken and dumplings were more like noodles than dumplings but had a good taste. The kid meals were chicken tenders and theywere light and tender. The meatloaf was delicious. We didn't have dessert but we all left with leftovers. All the signs andantiques were fun to look at too. We bought 2 of those huge cinnamon rolls to have for breakfast the next morning and they didnot disappoint. Plenty of icing with a light and flakey texture. All in all one of our favorite things about Gulf Shores. Read more

The food here was absolutely amazing! The line outside was intimidating, but they got people in quickly. The food came out... piping hot and fresh. The waiters and staff were extremely friendly and the rolls were launched across the restaurant in epicstyle. This is a great place and fun atmosphere. I can't wait to come back here again! Overall this is a great familyrestaurant! Read more

Loved the atmosphere. The ribs are good but a little a cold when served. Fried okra reminded me of what my grandmother used to... make. The rolls are obviously what they known for and they definitely deliver on taste and quality. We caught a few rolls andthe kids loved it. It reminds me a lot of going into a Cracker Barrel but obviously Lambert?s came first. I loved thededications to their family members that have since past. My wife also said they were the best chicken livers she ever had. Read more

This place is super busy. Showed up at 1:30 on a Tuesday with a larger group and the wait time was 2 hours. We stuck it out... until we noticed that others who came after us were getting seated. I asked the person taking names and the system had not savedus, even though she had read my phone number back to me twice. Regardless, they put us next in line and sat us prettyquickly. The general atmosphere is high energy with a lot of action going all at once. They have to runs truly impressiveamount of food through this place on a daily basis? The amount of food you get is staggering and is delivered in a fun way. Ourfamily enjoyed the experience and left full and happy as clams. Enjoyable experience if you aren?t in a hurry and don?t mindwaiting a longer than normal amount of time to eat. Read more

Always an awesome treat to stop by with the family when we're anywhere in the area or driving on interstate 10. The fried... chicken is delicious, Grandma really liked the fried liver and onions, the chicken tenders are great, and the fried shrimpbasket was overloaded in a good way. Homemade applesauce is good, the coleslaw is delicious, and the service was excellent, especially from Lori. Parole guy made plenty of rounds, as did the apple butter. Fried okra was plentiful, as well. A littleslow on some of the other slides coming around, but it was still good. Read more

We?re visiting from Texas and we saw this place had good reviews, so we decided to stop in. We?re so glad we did! We were... seated right away and when you walk through the restaurant you can see why there was no wait - it?s huge! Room after room isfilled with tables and lots of happy people eating. The menu is pretty extensive and has a lot of great southern options. Ourtable of 6 ordered chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, and chicken and dumplings. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, anddelicious. I also love a restaurant that has things they bring out to you that are included in the meal price. Going around therestaurant were black eyed peas, fried okra, fried potatoes, and they?ll even throw you a roll (which the kids loved). Ourwaitress was also super sweet and very attentive. This was a great stop and we?re so glad we visited while on our trip to GulfShores. Read more
