Ordered to go and was so dissaponted. Nothing tasted fresh. The pita bread, veggies and baklava all tasted old and not fresh at... all. I guess I will have to continue going all the way to Fairhope for good Medetaranian food. Read more

Here is a man that knows how to make a gyro. With the option of double meat, my husband was in heaven. For me, extra veggies hit... the spot! Worth the trip. Read more

John was incredibly friendly and courteous. Food was terrific, portion sizes were large, and the amount of feta and tzatziki... sauce was incredibly generous. My daughter and I had take out and went to the city park two blocks away. Wonderful stop inFoley. Foley has a hidden gem. It would be easy to miss this place if you are just passing through, but it is worth visiting ifyou like Greek food. Read more

The gyros are EXCELLENT!!! I get the gyro with cucumber sauce and feta cheese. They are PLENTY big enough to fill you up and... they taste amazing. The thing I like the best is that there is a lot of meat, not just filler. The price is a little steep (itwas 24 dollars for 2 gyro meals) but, I feel like it's worth it for the quality you get. The fries that come with it are plainold fries and the drink is a 12 oz. soda out of the cooler. Service was friendly. Over all I would say it is worth the price andthe trip to John's Gyros. This guy does gyros like they were meant to be done. I've been going here for over seven years and have never had a single bad... experience. You may have to wait when it's busy. It is totally worth it. The family that run John's are very nice. Best gyro inBaldwin county. Read more

Discovered this place by accident a few weeks ago. John's is quite small and extremely plain inside--maybe five or six tables... total. I ordered a gyro with cucumber sauce and it and the Greek salad was good. Impressed with the different types of gyros youcan order, plus grape leaves. Would be nice to have fountain drinks available (in a can is your only option). Service wasfriendly. I'll go back... Read more

Dive-y in the most wonderful way! Delicious food. I've only ever had the gyro with cucumber sauce or garlic sauce. Both are life... changing. Family owned, owners are friendly enough. If you're looking to be fawned over, called sugar andwant to yammer at themwhile they prepare your order, you'll be sorely disappointed. If you appreciate the fact that it isn't fast food and a Coke in acan is a non issue, enjoy yourself and take a friend along. Have been going since they opened, and can count on one hand thetimes my order wasn't stellar. Even then, it was delicious. Read more

Best gyros in the south! Having searched everywhere down here for a decent gyro, I stumbled upon this place by accident to find... that it is authentic and delicious! Up til now I only saw gyros on a menu at Arby's and those are just RIDICULOUS. But thesegyros are delightful! The tzatziki sauce was light yet flavorful and the lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked to the absolutebest point of juicy, tender and tasty. The pits was warm. And it was made very quickly, so no long wait for your order. Eat inor to- go option. I will be back. Often! Read more
