Food was good. Service was found wanting. The pork tenderloin was delicious but the staff was not exactly enthusiastic about... being there to say the least. One server was talking about how understaffed they were and she didn't even want to come in. Wewaited nearly 10 minutes to be acknowledged by someone to be seated. We waited so long on our food that we eventually told our sever nevermind. To which she replied its finished, so we said wed go... ahead and eat it. Waited another 10 minutes for her to bring out food that was still unfinished. Table was sticky, booth wallsdirty. The floor underneath the people across from us was coming up. We were told upon arrival that there was a wait of 15-20 minutes, so we decided to wait along with 2 couples and 1 group of 3... people that were ahead of us. In that 15-20 minutes we counted 5 groups walk out after eating. 25 minutes later, the 3 groupsthat were ahead of us were finally seated. 43 minutes total later, we were finally seated by 2 giggling little girls whocouldn't figure out where to seat us in the 30 tables they had open. We walked past 6 empty 2 seat booths and 3 larger booths. These tables were not just cleaned as if they were just used by previous customers. The restaurant was not busy at all; youcould almost hear a pin drop bc it was so quiet. No one was seated at the bar and the bar tender leaning against the bar doingabsolutely nothing except wipe down a bar that had not been used. There were also 2 other waitresses hanging around thekitchen chatting up a storm, again, bc they were not busy at all. 10 minutes after being seated our waitress finally comes andgets drink order. 8 minutes later we were finally brought our water. Within that time a waitress was on a break, I assume, bcyou couldn't realy tell who was on the clock or not bc they were all doing the same thing. Nothing. She put in her food order,after we sat down, with the same waitress and by the time we got our water, she had her food. After an hour of being told therewas only a 15-20 minute wait we left with only getting water. She never came back to get our order. This place was the worsttumbleweed experience we've ever had. Fast service, really good brewed ice tea, tasty and nice sized cheese burger. Unfortunately, cool french fries. Cooked perfectly... then left to sit until cool. Why oh why do so many restaurants not understand the requirement of serving HOT crispy fries? Don'tqueue up a big bin of fries under a lamp and think it's a good thing. It's not. Eight months later, still the same. Luke warmfries otherwise perfectly cooked. We eat out several times a week. You've gotten our business twice in 8 months. Serve hotfries!! Read more
