Great little doughnut shop! Fluffy smaller cake doughnuts and hot coffee. I also recommend the kolaches
Firstly, these are typically good pastries and the like. For that, they get two stars This location, however, has disappointed... on three separate occasions. The storefront has never been open on any of these occasions. Each time I was greeted with a poorlywritten, scrawled, paper taped to the door informing potential customers that ?lobby is close?. Instead of stopping in for aquick purchase one is forced to wait in the drive through line for seemingly one employee to take the order, package the order,and take payment. The most recent followed this pattern resulted in a thirteen minute wait in the drive through only to begrunted at by the employee at the window. I presumed the grunt was an invitation to take my order so I did. ?We don?t have anymore? of those was mumbled response. Very friendly staff and quick service, even during my 'high traffic' stop on Sunday morning. Only needed four donuts but was... convinced by the cashier to round up to a half dozen for a few cents more... great salesmanship! Inside was very clean, muchmore modern than my usual store. Lots of space to sit down and enjoy your food. Not often this far south so I'll take Shipley'swhenever I can get it, and this was above the rest. Read more
Glad that they have a Shipley' donut on this side of town now. I'm not huge on sweets so I usually get their kolaches and... occasionally but very rarely get donuts. Their kolaches is better than most of the places I've had around here. Their dozenglazed are about $7.50 - $8. Anything other than that, it's considered a specialty donut and will cost you double the price andmore for a dozen. Kind of a ridiculous price for donuts. I'm not going to pay $20 for a dozen donuts, never have in my life andnever will. Read more
