Went tonight for my son's birthday. Heard the food was good and we were not disappointed. The portions are not small. Had the... trashed ribs as an appetizer and they were great. Tender and great flavor. Two in our group had the pulled pork and it was spoton. I had the brisket and it was super tender with great flavor. The sides were not just a spoonful of each they were in cupsand the fries were plenty and good. None of us left hungry for sure. Looking forward to going back to try other stuff on themenu. We just relocated here from the Atlanta area and have been missing good BBQ. We are used to lots of great options but had been... coming up short since we got here. Did a search, read the reviews, and decided to give Kenova a try. I was skeptical but thefood was absolutely delicious and made me a believer! Hands down the best we?ve found in the area. I ordered burnt ends, ribs,Mac n cheese, collards, and the Brussel sprouts. Everything was incredible. My husband had the same with beans, fries, and Mac ncheese for the sides. Kids had nachos and a cheeseburger. Every single thing was fantastic! We will definitely be back andbringing family and out of town guests with us! Glad to have a great BBQ spot in our new home! Unfortunately I was taken here by the online hype. Ordered a lot for me and my family. Expensive. Portions are small and food is... ok, GREASY. We felt heavy and sick afterwards. Order was placed online but husband wanted to see inside and order something elsefor him. Young people scrambling everywhere, owner or person in charge mingling, completely disregarding other people....Cashierclueless. Unfortunately not a good experience but they do have lots of friends and I can see they are the ones putting thereviews in. Maybe if we knew them service would have been different. I?ve had a great experience eating at Kenova Smokehouse. The customer service is 10/10. The portions were very generous and... filled me up ,but the flavor was definitely the bread winner. It?s worth every penny and I will revisit again to try more menuitems. Read more
We waited 30 minutes on our food for our order to be wrong and cold. We live less than 10 min away. I ordered the burger and... asked for no cheese. When I got home, you can see where they picked some of the cheese off, but failed mostly. Instead of makinga new burger, they just flipped it over hoping I wouldn?t see. My husband?s portion was extremely small and burnt. I am verydisappointed and definitely will not return to pay this much for a terrible dinner. Read more
My new favorite restaurant. This place is relatively small. It?s comfortable and the food is outstanding. Service was great too.... I plan to bring out of town guests here from now on. It?s a smokehouse but has southern staples like banana cream pudding,grits, Mac and cheese, collard greens. I have a large family and everyone tonight left very happy with their meal and totallysatisfied (and with plenty of left overs). I highly recommend the ribs. But anything on the menu is good.
