Location is easy in and out on Lakeland Boulevard a few miles from I-55. Atmosphere is inviting. Workers are pleasant. ... Prices are reasonable. Good variety of flavors. The cupcakes are delicious! I'm a long lasting customer, love LOVE their cupcakes, but I keep running into issues with Gigi's via GrubHub. Gigi's workers... and managment never take responsibility when issues are on their end. I just recently ordered six cupcakes and only recievedfour, no one called me and asked for a subsitute or anything, just charged me full price. When I called a young lady basicallytold me, that I should take it up with GrubHub(last time I checked Grubhub, doesn't package food, just deliver it). Things likethis has happened before with them, I'm starting to consider taking my business elsewhere. Read more
My family and I travel to the Jackson/Flowood area once a year. Every time we are in the area we choose to support local... businesses as much as possible and we always make sure Gigi?s is on our list. I must start by saying that the establishment wasvery clean and as always our cupcakes were delicious. However, the two employees that were in the store 6/27/22 around 4PM werenot at interested in serving customers whatsoever, and actually acted annoyed that we came into the store. Nobody was wearinguniforms/name tags/aprons or identification of any kind. So, employee #1 wasn?t inclined to speak as we walked in the door, so Imade the fist gesture. Then as I was deciding which cupcakes I wanted employee #2 walks out of the bathroom, throws her handsdown to her side, rolls her eyes, and looks at employee #1 and the two of them start giggling at each other. Employee #2 wasvisibly annoyed that I took longer than she thought I should to decide which cupcakes I wanted (proceed to lean over theregister and sigh) and then after I had decided which cupcakes I wanted and was ready to check out the only thing she said theentire time was ?that all?? I have never had problems with Gigi?s in the past (and I still plan to return next year, becausethe cakes are amazing) but it was a disappointing experience this go around. I hope these issues are resolved quickly, I wouldhate to see such a business suffer due to unwillingness and rudeness of employees. Read more

Gigi's is wonderful! We hadn't been here in several years because of the pandemic. We went tonight and got 4 cupcakes - 2... wedding cake and 2 cookie monster. Divine! Their shop was clean and neat with frequent disinfecting. We didn't have to wait andthe service was fast and friendly. I've missed coming here and will come more often now. Read more
Yesterday was my first time being here I figured while I was in Flowood I should go ahead and stop by. I got a wedding cupcake,... german chocolate, oreo double stuffed & red velvet. These cupcakes are okay. After eating my second cupcake first I had thewedding cake and second I had the red velvet -- I was really hoping the red velvet would have a cream cheese icing instead itwas a vanilla. There's too much Icing for my taste. I found it strange that the red velvet made my mouth pink, it was like therewas a light pink dye. Correction my fiancé liked that the oreo one tasted like ice cream, but as of today he said he doesn'tlike them. Their only $3.75, I also came earlier in the day around 10:30-11am and there was plenty to choose from. This placeisn't horrible, but I probably won't come back. I would suggest that you put a bell on your door so you can hear when someonecomes in & have a price list of anything you sell in your store. The two ladies behind the counter were very nice. I was on my way to check into my hotel near the airport as I was looking for somewhere to eat I about broke my neck when I saw... the Gigi sign from the road. Of course I ordered 4! To be honest I was a little disappointed as they were not as good as Iremembered from last summer when I was in Nashville.
