Delicious and fun seafood with great atmosphere. Definitely start off with the Fish Tales (fried grouper) and drizzle some malt... vinegar before dipping it in the dill sauce...so crispy and fresh! We got the oyster poboys, creole pasta, grilled groupersandwich, and the shrimp and grits for our entree. They were all plentiful and delicious, and I loved my side of sweet potatofries that are dusted with cinnamon and sugar. We went on a Fri night for dinner and thankfully we got there at 5pm and had noproblem getting seats but there was a large waiting area once we finished eating. We showed up at rush hour, and the wait time was said to be 2 hours. We were able to sit in the lower area next to the sandy... Beach and ordered drinks and appetizers. While waiting and chilling, and starting some appetizers, we were called to be seated.The food was tasty, live music was soothing. This experience turned out to be better than we expected. Read more
We use to really enjoy this place even though it was a bit on the higher side. The food is getting to the point as if they are... just throwing it together and loosing the actual love for making it. The water glasses are constantly covered in what tasteslike dish liquid with white film caked across the entire rim. Bathrooms are just about always out of order. 1st time here Victoria was our server she was awesome. We got the calimari to start. My man got fried grouper and fries. I got... the basket with 2 options and a side so i got blackened tilapia. Fish tails. And fried mac and cheese. FYI the fried mac ncheese is like corn nuggets but mac n cheese..... when my plate came I was like where is my mac n cheese? Lol she was like it isthere my face musta been like..... cause she was like would you like something else? I was like nah I'll give it atry. Interesting was unsure how I felt about it lol Calimari was okay wouldnt get again.... the fish tails were good but i feela lot of seafood places use bland breading vs seasoned so probably why I say was just okay I like my stuff seasoned but just mypersonal opinion. My man said fried grouper was good The blackened tilapia was probably best thing I had out of it all.Perfectly cooked. Love how they have a huge sand pit for kids to play in! Read more

I really wanted to like this place more since we LOVE their sister restaurant, Pig tales but we weren?t overly impressed. Decent... size restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating and a sand pit for the kids. There were tons of servers and service was great.The drinks are nice and strong (although she didn?t ask if I wanted bucket or cocktail). The pineapple Moscow mule was straightginger with no pineapple juice at all but we enjoyed the endless summer punch & Jamaican cowboy. The calamari & claim stripswere both overcooked and tasted like they are a frozen product rather than fresh. The claim strips were tiny. The calamari ispricey compared to other seafood restaurants we go to that sell fresh calamari. The fish tales and fries were amazing but we canget those at pig tales so I?m not sure they won us over. So awesome! We loved everything about this place - the view, the setting, the staff! The lobster bisque was the best I have ever... had, so good that we took doubles to go. Shrimp and grits and shrimp pasta were also really good and well-balanced and spiced.The view of the lake just adds an additional plus to the whole picture! I was in town last night visiting friends. They suggested based on me wanting fish and grits. Had an incredible experience out... I. The deck food was awesome. Heather our waitress was absolutely over the top! Felt like we had known her for years by the endof our stay. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! Read more
