The problem with trying to get a Chicago Dog in Dallas-Fort Worth is that most places don't make them correctly. They won't use... Vienna Beef, or they think "regular" relish is fine with an ordinary hot dog bun. The problem with Joey O's is that it's a longdrive from where I live in SW Arlington! ???? It was all there - down to the emerald green relish and poppy seed buns. Theprice is reasonable also ($4.99). I'll be back when can - a lot more often if you open a location closer to me. I love this place!!! The food is fantastic and the ladies working here really know how to make a delicious sandwich and chili.... Hard work and doing right doesn?t go unnoticed. Wonderful sandwiches and hot dogs. Joey 's puts places like jimmy John's and subway to shame. I highly recommend it. The staff... is attentive, friendly, and helpful. I also appreciate the out door seating on a nice day. I wish they had more vegetarianoptions, like a vegetarian cheese steak type sandwich, and fresh mushrooms. Read more
Went here for the first time. I'm originally from Chicago so I was excited to try this place. I ordered an Italian Beef with hot... peppers and dipped. It was an amazing sandwich. Went for my first time today at 11. The 2 ladies working were super nice and very fast with my order. The meatball sub was... delicious. 1 of the meatballs was overcooked pretty bad but it all had good flavor. Bun got slightly soggy from the sauce but Idid get it to go so it was expected. Super cheesy and delicious. Definitely the best sub shop I've been to in the area. Excitedto try the pizza sub next! Read more
Seriously need to go here more. I stopped by one time after seeing a lot about it on facebook, so I swung in one time in between... classes. Great friendly staff, great food, great prices. As I said I need to go back. The food is great and the prices areequally great. So I need to go and try more on the menu, but glad they are here in Parker Square. Keep on being great andawesome!
