We asked to book a Sunday brunch after a baptism and made a special request to serve their American Breakfast to 25 guests. The... food was hot and ready when we walked in and all the plates were ?happy? plates. We appreciated Swirl working with us during abusy time and our guests browsed and picked up a few desserts as well. The omelette was worse than Waffle House. They don't even crack fresh eggs (confirmed with employee) and it is very obvious.... They use some sort of an "easy egg" liquid mix, and the consistency of the omelette was very unnatural. 3 years ago I gave them 5 stars, the food is still good. My issue is I ordered a breakfast meal and they hadn?t prepped it. I... made a 2nd choice, paid only to be told they hadn?t prepped it either. I had to choose a 3rd meal option. I normally wouldn?tmake a big deal out of the next thing, but it was the final straw. They were also out of ketchup. Very disappointed. Family went to this cafe for Saturday brunch, I had the Karen?s plate, 2 petit sandwiches and a huge bowl of fruit with yogurt... dip and it was delicious. My grandson had a grilled cheese and it was delicious too! Staff was super sweet. All around I wouldrecommend. Read more
