We have ordered from Joy?s through the past couple of years. We ate there for the first time last night and the service was... great. Food was came out hot, fresh and quickly! We have always order the sesame chicken and it is always on point. We?veordered the king pao, noodles, fried rice in the past and it?s always been fresh and delicious. The meat in our dishes had a very strange consistency and there was a flavor added to the dishes we've never had at a Chinese... restaurant. The spice they added was very off putting and the general taste of the dishes was off. The meat seemed like it hadbeen boiled and was very soft and doughy. None of us liked the meat. I loved the atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The ambience is nice and peaceful with music featuring traditional Chinese... instruments. Also, it wasn?t packed full of tables. There is a bar areas with TVs for those who want to just get tapas anddrinks. Server Alex was very professional and efficient. The Jasmine tea was really great on a cold evening. The crab rangoonsare really, although I wish they had more crab (imitation crab). The hot and sour soup and egg drop were hot and deliciousstarters. Chicken with vegetables platter was packed with meat and the veggies tasted so fresh. The menu says they don?t add msgto the food and they go easy on the oil. That being said the fried rice wasn?t very oily- some people might prefer with moreoil. I thought it was great. The Hunan beef dish was good and the meat was very tender. After being gluten free for 8 years, my doctors told me to eat gluten for some upcoming tests. So I knew I wanted some Chinese... food. Man on man, Joy Chinese was an amazing choice!
